I'm so convinced this is a celebrity party/concert. It would be insane to find out Friday afternoon that this is televised and it's a concert series with respected artists all covering Taylor Swift songs and mashing them up with songs she loves from said artists.

Reputation is a fantastic album, it's sonically amazing and it does indeed have an edge to it that people pretend she doesn't have. I listen to it all the time.
