What we need to consider is that we on this forum care about music. It is one of our hobbies. That is not the case for a lot of people. For example my cousin is a gamer and just listens to the soundtrack of the games (mostly instrumental music) and then he ends up liking some of that and also listens to it when out and about. Or he just listens to podcasts while gaming. He has no interest in music on a deeper level, he just takes whatever he likes and doesn't give it a second thought because he has other interests. A lot of people are like this.

It's not even really about the looks but the idea that it will lead to chronic headaches as people age

Red is extremely well-regarded also outside of her fanbase and there is a case to be made for 1989 too. You guys act like TTPD and Showgirl are her only albums

You could say that about literally any pop star. The longer you are in your career the more you rely on your established fanbase. Taylor did the best job of cultivating one.

She will be remembered for hit songs like You Belong With Me, Love Story, All Too Well, Blank Space, Style. Her legacy is well-cemented already, 1 not so well-received era does not take away from that.

She is the only one of the 3 who didn't completely destroy her own reputation. Froyo gate completely destroyed Demi and only deluded stans deny this. With Miley...well we all know the huge list of wrongdoings she did and it extends far beyond her 2013 antics

I hope this will give a streaming bump to Danceteria and Bring Your Love. Both songs deserve it.
