It tried to be Jessie Ware's Pearls and missed the mark. It's too dense and clunky lyrically.

now that taylor is back her "fans" don't have time for her anymore

the song is good but house tour is better.

It's catchy but it's a bit cringe being sung by a girl that could pass for a 15 year old.

Disco kinda being over, the over sexual song not being that subtle this time around.

 

It still a top 5 single.

Short n' Sweet is one of my favorite albums of this decade.
It's so airy and smooth... I play it every time I'm doing my Google Street View virtual walks around California and L.A.
I usually listen to it in the mornings or on bright, sunny days. It just feels so refreshing.
"Taste," "Bed Chem," "Don't Smile," "Coincidence," "Juno"… all of them are gems
If I were a Barbie driving a convertible, that would be the album I'd play on the Pacific Coast Highway.

 

I've known about Sabrina since before she got famous ....... back in the 2010s, I used to check all the upcoming stars for future Disney shows, and she was one of them.
I always wanted to explore her discography, but I never found the time.
When "Espresso" blew up thanks to word of mouth, I finally listened  and wow, it's easily one of the best summer songs of this decade, along with "Solar Power" and "Midnight Sun."

Now with this new record, I actually love the album cover, even if everyone else hates it.
I think it looks really HOT  and the alternative version is super classy.


But "Manchild" was so boring to me. I don't care much for country music anymore, especially since I now associate it with MAGA culture.
I also realized Jack Antonoff produced the album, and honestly, I'm not a fan of his work.
So to this day, I still haven't listened to the full record  not even "Tears."   i think i watched a still of the video and it looked vintage
The same thing happened with Doja Cat's album. I talked about it a lot lol, but truthfully, I never listened to it either because Antonoff was the producer.  I dislike him a lot (Mean bish) so i will check their next eras once he's gone

It was for the gays but I fear half of them were scared off after Manchild so by the time Tears rolled around it was already too late...
