Lessons you hope some "apolitical" ATRL faves learn after the Ed Sheeran lashings?
Olivia and Billie are very, very political-vocal, and I don't see any blacklisting going on with them???? At least, any that we're aware of????? The industry is still rallying around both of them? So, I think major female american artists with longevity are free to be political. They should release political albums and everything. Time for those folky angry hippie records anti capitalism like american life by madonna. All American artists should care about their country and how USA it's backing the genocide in the Middle East. But in a more realistic stance, I think they will actually turn less political, because if they feud with the major players in the industry, their source of income will suffer-be cut??? And at the end of the day, they're hyperrich celebrities who are accustomed to all the luxuries. Their fortunes first, and then the people feelings. Now, in a more personal opinion, I feel like The only way to stop this genocide is for Democratic politicians to stop it. So celebs should be focused on rallying for Democratic politicians and people to vote in this moment. They're the ones with the power to stop this. Real ones. Not like Biden (goin to hell). Real ones like Alexandria? Dont know I think instead of wasting time cancelling celebs behind a keyboard. People should redirect that energy and create communitary parties-goin to colleges and small towns to turn people blue. Movin outside and doin something If MAGA keeps goin Palestinians will be erased in the next years

Macklemore dropped from Ed Sheeran tour post-Free Palestine speech
I think this controversy will be forgiven too, like all controversies in the world, but it will discourage big artists from having pro-Palestine and politically outspoken openers because they know the risks that come with it behind the scenes with the oppressive tour venues-promoters-owners. Actually, in my opinion this situation........ it sets a very bad precedent. Now big artists will probably have someone screening their opening acts whole story and views to evade future controversies situations and damage to their tours. I wish progressive spaces would support Macklemore the way MAGA guys support Ella Langley. That would be a good clapback to the evil in the industry. For him to go top10-nr1 again Screamin with Pink opening the pandoras box snowball effect I wonder how she's feeling behind the scenes her cancellation era arrived finally

Shakira: LMYNL World Tour
Plot twist: That superstage she talked about was a lie. She wanted to scam the Spaniards as a vendetta for all the bad things they did to her in the press and with the Spanish treasury and the pique family xenophobia and more lol Robin Hood is finally having ha last laugh. Las mujeres ya no lloran. Ahora los españoles lloran Theory 2: The tour started with all kinds of problems and controversies and curses, so the closing chapter needed to be similar to the beginning. Everything comes full circle.

MILEY - 'Bass Persuades'
Lovin' the song. Feels rock, but also a bit electro-industrial/electroclash? This one and "Bass" are giving me a cohesive sound palette. I can see how they work with each other. I'm already picturing the whole record in my mind. This definitely doesn't look like a "selling out" messy era. I understand the comparisons to Something Beautiful and Plastic Hearts better now. Excited about the album.
