Macklemore dropped from Ed Sheeran tour post-Free Palestine speech
I think this controversy will be forgiven too, like all controversies in the world, but it will discourage big artists from having pro-Palestine and politically outspoken openers because they know the risks that come with it behind the scenes with the oppressive tour venues-promoters-owners. Actually, in my opinion this situation........ it sets a very bad precedent. Now big artists will probably have someone screening their opening acts whole story and views to evade future controversies situations and damage to their tours. I wish progressive spaces would support Macklemore the way MAGA guys support Ella Langley. That would be a good clapback to the evil in the industry. For him to go top10-nr1 again Screamin with Pink opening the pandoras box snowball effect I wonder how she's feeling behind the scenes her cancellation era arrived finally

Shakira: LMYNL World Tour
Plot twist: That superstage she talked about was a lie. She wanted to scam the Spaniards as a vendetta for all the bad things they did to her in the press and with the Spanish treasury and the pique family xenophobia and more lol Robin Hood is finally having ha last laugh. Las mujeres ya no lloran. Ahora los españoles lloran Theory 2: The tour started with all kinds of problems and controversies and curses, so the closing chapter needed to be similar to the beginning. Everything comes full circle.

MILEY - 'Bass Persuades'
Lovin' the song. Feels rock, but also a bit electro-industrial/electroclash? This one and "Bass" are giving me a cohesive sound palette. I can see how they work with each other. I'm already picturing the whole record in my mind. This definitely doesn't look like a "selling out" messy era. I understand the comparisons to Something Beautiful and Plastic Hearts better now. Excited about the album.

Which 2006 pop era was your favourite?
Beyonce - B'Day : I live for her original r&b sound and i love her chocolate brown hair back then. Miss this beyonce alot Justin Timberlake - FutureSex/LoveSounds : One of the hottest males eras ever. Love the dark electro bangerz. He looked so sexy too Nelly Furtado - Loose : One of those iconic album of the dark electro era. One of the best reinventions ever Fergie - The Dutchess : It was a fun album. so pop. The fun bubbly touch they needed in that wild sexy urban era Gwen Stefani - The Sweet Escape : She was very threathrical. In some ways i feel like she paved the way for gaga Christina Aguilera - Back to Basics : It was a great reinvention. She was winning at this point of her career. Candyman was everywhere Rihanna - A Girl Like Me : Not the greatest but is a cute r&b record for teens. Definitely a step above her debut. Far more interesting P!nk - I'm Not Dead : Fun i like how she returned so strong Amy Winehouse - Back to Black : Respect to her but i just didnt vibe with her music-voice Akon - Konvicted : Hmm what :insert miley gif:

Zara Larsson - 'Midnight Sun: Girls Trip'
I also agree that Zara shouldn't take so long between releases, but she also needs some time to breath after overworkin herself too much and come with something nice. in my opinion she should focus on some of these things in particular: Come up with a high-quality, big-budget music video lead that people actually want to watch, like "Stateside" or "Midnight Sun." Not another "Ruin My Life," because that video was a disaster of only beauty shoots lmfao . Hire the same female video director of stateside-midnight again. Make the new album personal and not just a H&M collection of songs. Midnight Sun feels personal and really shows her essence, and I think that helped the era a lot. To open about her fears-dreams-life stories Have a cohesive concept. There can be different sounds, but everything should still work together as a whole, like Midnight Sun did. The aesthetic is super important. Let's be honest: one of the reasons this era became so successful was the whole aesthetic. People loved it, her dresses, the makeup glossy persona, made memes about it, the kids love that. Zara should start making mood boards and developing her next aesthetic now, ideally with a dedicated creative/marketing team. Finding out what is the right fit next. I would I think going back to MNEK could be a good idea, although I wonder if she can even do that after the label change. But she should definitely work with some new producers too. If there's a chance for her to work with max martin. He should be the main producer. Not assistant producer like past songs* max martin songs dont work when he's just half assin stuff. Keep building that parasocial relationship with her fans. She should keep showing up, interacting with them, and making them feel connected to her. Dont dissapear. Keep that connection mom Now, what I keep wondering about is… What kind of aesthetic should she go for next? Barbie? Hollywood Luxury? Y2K? Hipster Tumbrl? Hyperpop? Bling Zara? Nordic Valhalla/Frozen Goddess? There are so many directions she could take. And what kind of sound would work best for her next era? Synth-pop? Electropop? Bubblegum pop? More house-influenced songs? Jersey club? Disco? Dancehall? R&B Zara? 90s powerballad? Country would be a mistake. Thats a MAGA Genre and zara is far away from them. My biggest fear is Zara feeling too much pressure to follow up this album with something equally successful, along with all the expectations that come with it, and that ultimately ruining her newfound creativity. We all know Midnight Sun took time to make—to be refined and perfected. Maybe she should just make and release the next album her heart tells her to.
