Miley - "Bass Persuades"
Miley Cyrus' life: 1. If you check her interviews, she's clearly in love with haute couture, archival fashion, luxury, and artsy things (Something Beautiful). 2. She lives right now a very healthy exercize focused, chill, organic, wealthy California lifestyle (Endless Summer Vacation). 3. Having fun with all her gay besties and showing her appreciation for gay and pop culture (Bass Persuades). 4. Her Nashville roots (Thousand Miles)(Future country album??) 5. A genuine love for rock music and all the legends (Plastic Hearts). I actually don't find her newer albums costumey at all. They're a reflection of who Miley is today—her influences, interests, and personal life. I think her earlier albums were definitely more about Miley trying to move away from Hannah Montana (Can't Be Tamed and Bangerz) and trying different personas to shock people-have newfound creed in the music business. Younger Now also felt like she was trying to appeal to Liam and fit into a certain image-clean her past But these newer albums feel much more like the essence of Miley herself. She's really the grown up Hannah Now. The one we visualized as kids one day! She just took the ecletic lane-road of doin total different things-genres-havin different sounds-trying everything like Gaga,Shakira,Madonna,Beyonce,Xtina......... instead of doin the signature genre sound thing with all her albums with some sprinkles of experimentation like Lana Del Rey,Taylor,Dua,Charli XCX,Katy Perry. Both lanes are If you like pop artists havin a cohesive unified sound. Miley is not for you Cause i can see her trying new lands in the future too. Totally Unexpected ones We were all expecting a rock song and look. We have a heavy dark electronic one

Miley - "Bass Persuades"
Just listened. So this isn't a rock song?????? She really played us lmfao. I think a lot of people downplay how connected Miley is to gay culture and club culture. She's not just a rockstar, country star, or weird strange artist. She's also the queen of the discoquete and gay parties with drag kweens She's not an appropiator. She really loves the gays if you go deep dive mode Loving the song. It's giving me Dua Lipa vibes sometimes, but less disco and more electronic... The beats feel very blackout a bit gaga. Really hot. I wanted this type of sound for tate or zara next records..... Lovin the chorus-hook thing too. Ah-Ah I can see this one turning into one of my most played songs from this year and miley ever. I know some stans are a little tired of that Charli XCX-type of sound copycat thing with so many modern singers same as artists trying to copy taylor stick but this one feels darker. Less intended for tiktok. So here for her taking the charts in a darker direction with this record like back in 2006-2007 (2026-2027) with dignity, futurelove, blackout, departure, loose, good girl gone bad This one is giving dominatrix. The Hot Guys in the video OMG Mother

Just checking these graphics showin latinoamerica demographics https://www.reddit.com/r/dataisbeautiful/comments/1w4lh89/oc_ranges_of_european_amerindian_and_subsaharian/ Looks like The most european ancestry countries are Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil (because of the South). The countries with the most Amerindian (indigenous) are Guatemala, Bolivia, Mexico, and Ecuador. The most africa/sub-sahara countries are Haiti, Dominican republic, Cuba, and Brazil. Looks like my country Colombia is a middle ground of influences First European,Then native american and then some african heritage

Why do people gag so hard over Tate McRae?
Yes zara is very vanilla sometimes but her controversies helped her to have some visibility i rarely see headlines about Tate I think it would be good if the fans push her more. Extracting the good things of interviews Cause there's clearly a lot of fans trying to paint her as this Fascist maga queen. There's a destruction campaign against her

Miley - 'Bass Persuades'
The vid The covers. The whole thing. In love with this era Now, about Miley's genre shifts—and some of the hate she gets on social media: Gaga, Beyoncé, Shakira, Madonna, and so many others have changed genres countless times. Why is there never this much complaining about them? People shitting on Miley probably stan basic artists who are incapable of evolving or trying something different. Their faves just don't have the talent or range to pull it off. Miley has been able to score hits across completely different sonic lanes, and that's impressive. We love a provocateur and a chameleon. The queen of transformation.

Why do people gag so hard over Tate McRae?
People are delusional, tbh. There was something highly magnetic about Britney... Like we say in Spanish, "Britney tenía ángel." You couldn't take your eyes off her. You cant replace someone like that even if they have good dancing skills. Thousands in the world tried to serve something similar to britney but they dont have the substance. Britney is a very unique type of color in this world. Her voice. Her beauty. Charisma. Yep, those comparisons are ruining the new generation and their potential. They're always trying to find "the "" of the new generation" When Billie debuted, I remember so many people comparing her to Avril Lavigne. I'm lowkey glad she didn't try to go down the pop-rock lane, because she probably would've been boxed in back then.

Did Ariana's petal come and go?
I honestly feel like people are done with her synth-pop. They want strictly pop R&B Ariana back. Less electronics for the next album—something more organic and connected to the urban sounds of the past, especially '90s/2000s soul. I also feel like her last few albums have been very moody, and people want happier music from her. Something fun, raw, and feral, like Dangerous Woman. Ariana used to be such a "vibe", and today she feels a bit more melancholic. At this point in my life, I'm honestly just happy we have new music from her, and I want her to be healthy again and take care of herself. Even if she takes a long, long break from music, that's okay. Her safety comes first, before everything else. I don't think the music is bad, but yeah, this is one of those eras where the conversation is too noisy and it drowns everything else out. Although I don't see this era as harmful to her, because it's not an era focused on big hate like witness-artpop-bionic-life of showgirl. It's an era focused on people's concern for her. If she comes back better than ever in the next few years, she could have a huge comeback.
