  1. It makes someone as tasteless and talentless as her likes it. HORRIBLE
  2. Horrible tedious garbage. The bar is truly in hell for her if people think this is some comeback miracle of a song lmfao
  3. Absolutely not. Her days of being a genuine general public fave are OVER. Most people can't stand her or this stupid corny song. It makes ZERO impact within the context of the film even as a credits song. I don't think the Academy is dying to give her an Oscar either so it won't get that boost. Think of how terrible the rest of the year would have to be for movies for people to still care about this 9 months from now. A nomination is still possible since it's not hard to campaign **** within the song branch if you're desperate enough - look at Diane Warren.
  4. I like that it feels unexpected and different for her. A lot of her recent music has been forgettable pablum but I could see this growing on me.
  5. one of the most overrated "high brow" artists. her songwriting is so dull and basic, like Taylor Swift for people who think they're smart, and this long anticipated single shows not much has changed.
  6. especially when they hear that voice in surround sound
  7. That was largely because Encanto bombed in theaters and people finally saw it on Disney+ Plus it's a catchy banger and within the movie Anyone watching TS5 on Disney+ isn't hanging around for the credits so she is getting skipped to watch another episode of Bluey or whatever. Much like she's now getting skipped on Spotify.
  8. They really thought she was winning an Oscar for a forgettable credits song LMAO Think of the emotional impact and memorability of You've Got a Friend in Me and When Somebody Love Me. Well there's none of that here.
  9. Exactly. Even as a child it felt kind of sad for her. It was a cute project but she simply wasn't generating attention and excitement like she did for Stripped. A lot of time had passed after that and it almost felt like an old veteran having a random comeback even though she was still in her mid 20s.
  10. As per usual with Swift, she spammed promo to secure the #1 so everyone that was interested in listening to it already did before the movie release (rare for film songs). No boost without being a general public fave, which it's not because the general public is largely repulsed by her now and the song itself is mediocre and cute at best. There were audible groans in my theater when it came on at the end.
  11. That feels about right actually. Maybe even a little high. LMAO
  12. 100% yes. Back to the Basics was mainly good for her but its impact is exaggerated. Xtina was already losing her coolness factor by then. All of the other eras mentioned were HUGE.
  13. It's absolutely a boring and mediocre effort. Fantano is still a vile attention seeking soulless influencer egomaniac masquerading as a critic.
  14. Swifties have their heads in the sand over how much backlash to her is real. Her oversaturation, mediocre output, offputting attention seeking, and vile billionaire tendencies have reached the general public and she's become the very definition of uncool. There were audible groans in my theater when her song came on at the end of Toy Story 5.
  15. Whitney I'm so sorry I actually do love her but no lmao
