I hate to be so pessimistic because I did enjoy the singles and I do think she's immensely talented but it goes without saying that you will love this album if you ate up anything tate / madison / billie recently released or you genuinely enjoy the current algorithmic popslop spotify playlists feed you. However, the problem is that this project literally sounds like everything else out right now, so instead of finding her own sound or sticking with one identity like she did quite flawlessly with the EP, this just gives indistinguishable sellout album vibes with no personality (that we know she has) that anyone could've released, which is just utterly disappointing and feels beneath her for a debut album, all things considered. Her talent + performance capabilities far outweigh these boring ass songs lol and we know she can do better, so it's kind of giving me zara larsson VENUS teas... if you enjoy it, all the power to you tho! Here's to hoping she turns the heat up for album no.2.
