Something shifted within music over the past few years where everyone is expecting pop girls to have deep, meaningful music with self produced lyrics, full credits and be fully involved in all aspects of music production. That never used to be the case. The majority of music produced from early 00s icons, Britney, Rihanna or Beyoncé had little involvement from them and that's ok. Pop music is allowed to be fun, it doesn't need to be deep and meaningful. Why are people obsessed trying to yuck someone's yum?

When you read the individual photobook Q+A's it was really interesting as there was a question about what each girl wants their future to look like. They all referred to themselves and individual aspirations, other than Megan who said she wanted Katseye to be the biggest act in the world.

Yeah I think so. I'm assuming Kats will be close to 18k when all is counted and they'll have more way more streams than The Script. Maybe I'll eat my words though

I've been waiting for the updated numbers! Thank god. I don't think a lot of official shop orders counted in the first estimate as they posted late. #2 on lock. I've bought 12 copies in total this week nnn .
