Another day, another OTH thread.

' knew it, I knew you' is sonically one of the most interesting songs she's released since evermore. Nothing lyrically too deep, but it's nice to hear her experimenting with new chord sequences and leaning into that 60s/70s folk-rock sound. It's got a bit of a Carole King Tapestry vibe to it, which would be a lovely direction for TS13 and would work thematically as her honeymoon/happily-married era album. Something straight-forward, emotionally deep, and sepia-toned would be lovely.

The way these threads keep popping up, you thought she just dropped a new album.

i see her name every where. I mean every where online, like I was randomly on Reddit thread on Odessey, and someone mentioned Taylor Swift like

I've been on vacation in a coastal sort of area for the past week or so and because of that vibe, RTF has been stuck in my head hardcore - and the acoustic version, too! I really can't be totally mad about Showgirl when it gave us this song tbh

She's the topic of conversation during every pop girl's release. Her stranglehold on them is so interesting to witness. I'm wondering if Ariana will get her own week or if it will also be a Taylor dominated news week.

Oh they're gonna find a way to make it about Taylor for sure, it's always the case.

Currently on vacation and asked this cafe to play Taylor Swift to which they complied.

Spoke to the owner, said Taylor is popular here and obviously in the world, said his favorite song is "Ours".

I almost Karen'd in the cafe, so I proceeded to probe, asking him if he knows of the superior song, Sparks Fly, to which he said he doesn't know it, but I won't be defeated.

I sang "drop everything now" and then and there he recognized it.

And this is me not remembering Sparks Fly's anniversary release is on this same day.

She's watching over me even on vacation.

If this is how she's going to get OG Debut to number 1 and then releases the TV as a separate chart topper, I have no words, no notes. She's brilliant at the artist legacy and management playbook. It will make that random Valentine's Day lover disc set peaking at #2 by 500 copies burn though.

The song choices feel random to be debut related. Why would she choose a pop song produced by max martin? I'm more concerned it's ts13 this soon.

Also Andrew watt and cirkut both follow Taylor on insta now.

Maybe I'm crazy, but the blank space one makes me think it is Taylor Swift TV (I'm always dead wrong though), ignoring that she bought her masters back, there's a "blank space" where her name should be, so she'll write her name on the TV. If I factor in the other two being IKIIKY version, then nah, I got nothing.
