Wait what did she tackle? Her hair that era did start out like highlighter yellow, and it's not my favorite tone on her, but she was trying to bounce back from the natural darkening it had during rep I guess. By the Time 100 gala the hair corrected itself. She's so gorgeous there. Literal Disney live action aurora or rapunzel princess vibes.

i don't think ME! is a bad song, it just has a lot of musical theatre energy which was never going to survive contact with the wider world (esp ATRL). you need to calm down has a much stronger case for being an actual bad song

I love the scene inside the heart pendant with that retro showgirl look. I'm still hoping she revisits that kind of vibe/aesthetic in a future album. When Opalite was announced as a single, I really thought she'd do it there.

You Need To Calm Down is so infectious to me. It used to sneak its way into my head constantly and I'd have to give the song so many streams.
