Video is great. Album is good. But I agree. I feel so truly sorry for her and pray that she can get through this. Eating disorders are a lifelong thing. It's very distracting from the art and it feels very twisted to be saying "yas queen" and cheering when she is so sick

I noticed you downvoted my thread and was confused then saw this comment. What could possibly be negative about this thread title with the only content being in it being Charli's tweet It's giving this:

what's especially weird is this is like a fan event that only her own hardcore stans are going to like what's the point in trying to make ur fav uncomfortable? From douches to ashes to this, she needs to stop giving them access

While I see this point, Miley's whole thing is kind of abruptly changing direction. Also, from the SB interviews, it was clear she viewed it as something that would be much bigger than it was.

Honestly think she is the type of artist who could benefit from not releasing a lead single. That should've been the case with something beautiful, especially given the 2 first songs released were much weirder and not indicative of the rest of the albums sound.

I do think despite this album being so sonically different than her past work, there is something extremely charli about it. Her point of view lyrically is extremely particular and can really only be done by her, especially in her post 2010s work

Why do some consider brat overexposed? I agree that it became highly commercialized , but the GP had a baseline awareness of it due to the branding, and the reception was extremely positive. People who were terminally online knew every aspect of it, but that's about it, and I don't think Charli ever approached her fanbase turning on her.
