DWAS will keep it a float. It's a massive hit. Commercially it will probably be like Joanne

I mean if the album's theme is chaos then she (and the world as a whole) have been doing a great job at conveying that :suburban:

With DWAS on the album, it's already at over 300,000 RIAA units. DWAS is more than likely going to end up going Diamond, so LG7 would hit platinum regardless of if the rest of the songs on the album perform on par with Good Morning.

She desperately needs DWAS to carry her new album. LG7 will follow the Disease chart trajectory. I'm very sacred for its longevity because the gp won't be tuning in. There is not big demand/interest for a new Gaga album in 2024. I'm predicting this to be her Witness (exl. DWAS)

The thing is... What would be so terrible about the album flopping? Gaga is a multimillionaire, respected and established artist, what else does she need?

I'd rather have an honest and cohesive album than a chart-oriented nonsensical mess. Not saying LG7 is going to be a disaster, but I don't like they're starting to go this route when there is NO NEED to chase nothing.

We should be less worried about her success and show her more love to the material she's putting out, because if even her fans make her feel insecure, then.......

Wait, I just realized DWAS on LG7 is lowkey giving Unholy on Feed the Beast :deadbanana4:

That being said, I hope she works a lot in LG7 this couple of months she has left. Now that DWAS is gonna be in it, I'd love her to be creative and find the way to make it fit in. I'd hate to find it just randomly hanging at the end of the album, but I guess it would be worse to have it as track #4 between Disease and Abracadabra :rip:

Lowkey don't want even a single collab on the album. Let it be a pure solo album like born this way.

Poor you!

We better get two more fully promoted singles with music videos since DWAS is technically the lead now. :suburban:

Harlequin, Joker: FAD and Disease are all very different projects but they have one thing in common; all of them are huge commercial bombs. She's served some real hardcore tankery this year

the way the good sis @Aston Martin provided you with facts, and you still are going on and on with the tankery talks. No choice but to downvote!

I recall reading somewhere in here that if a song is part of an album set to release after the eligibility period, it couldn't be nominated. Is that correct?

But now that it's been nominated, what can they even do about it? :dies:

That's incorrect!

Perhaps you're thinking about the rule about a song not being eligible if the album it's on previously won an album category (ex: Levitating not being eligible at the 2022 Grammys because Future Nostalgia won Pop Vocal Album in 2021, so only Da Baby remix was eligible since it wasn't part of the album).

Well...at least now we can say she had a long era with multiple singles and mvs since DWAS is added, Disease came out and she is filming for a third mv apparently...let's just hope it doesnt end there lol. We want at least a 4th mv too :suburban:

And despite that, DWAS is one of the biggest songs of the decade and LG7 will end up as Gaga's 2nd platinum album in the 3rd decade of her career (3rd if RIAA counts the TG:M soundtrack). Hope this helps :ryan3:

Third (:toofunny2:) single in Jan; fourth single (or at least MV) to coincide with Coachella in April. I imagine by the time her festival shows are over there should be a tour announcement and things will probably slow down outside any surprises.

I'm still considering LG7 lead single to be Disease. Not sorry! Also the way she was talking about it, it seems like DWAS is gonna be the last track on the album. But since there are so many different genres on the album, I'm curious to see how the tracklist will flow. She's typically good at tracklist (except Joanne was kinda messy nnn)

Assuming DWAS is the closing track…

Summerboy

Teeth

The Edge of Glory

Applause

Angel Down

Babylon

Die With a Smile

Her closers are pretty strong overall.

basically she has no concept anymore bring back laureanne gibson and redone

What a way to get a second single.

:suburban:

This actually made me lol

Some of y'all saying LG7 will tank harder than the Titanic when DWAS is already bigger than any Chromatica song and Disease is holding on better than Stupid Larvae on streaming, LG7 may not end up being her biggest album but I do expect it to have more longevity than Chromatica since there's already more promo lined up for it than it was for Chroma.
