Hey everyone! Just checking in because I might not be back to peruse the site until...quite a while. Nothing bad! It's actually very, VERY good. It's a goal I had been working towards for the past five years and it's surreal to see it come to fruition. Lot of tears, lot of doubts, lot of moments where I wanted to give up, but I got through it! I don't want to give away any details about it but it's career-related and it's a long journey, this career. Lot of testing, lot of interactions with other people, lot of managing health responsibilities for other people...but I made it! Everything starts in the next 3-ish weeks and I'm nervous, but excited...but nervous....but also excited! This site was a cornerstone for me in those past 5 years. It followed me through my entire journey. Whatever drama here actually did keep me sane from the realities of everything out there. I don't know if I'll be active anymore and I don't know if I want to be active anymore given the changes coming up. I feel like I've grown out of ATRL in a way. I'll also be seeing Gaga for my very FIRST time ever in the next few months. It's something I've dreamed about for so long but it never happened. The timing was never right. But I'm looking forward to that and sharing the energy I have for her that I feel I never really get to express in person with other fans. This will really be my last post in a LONG WHILE. I'm not the type of person who'll be able to still be around here and take those steps into my new career's journey. I just wanted to thank the base for being that cornerstone in my life this past half-decade. I've grown a lot, my perspectives have changed, but I've had all of you by my side and I wouldn't have it any other way. There's too many people to thank, some whom are no longer active on here so I won't list anyone, but you know who you are. Again, thank you for being there for me in the background when things were tough and I was unsure if I could ever reach my goal! Take care everyone!
