A letter from Ariana Grande sent to CCA voters
A winning speech at the first televised awards show of the season will help keep her fresh on people's minds once Oscar nomination voting starts a week later and helps to kick start her win narrative; it makes sense for her to push here that she is worthy. Now or never. If she loses at CCA and at the Globes — her easiest path — to Amy or Teyana then her momentum looks faded as the movie itself is not as beloved as its predecessor. Basically, good for her! It's a race and she's racing like anyone else and she would make history just to be nominated again.

Beyoncé & Jay-Z set to relocate to UK
Oh so climate migrants then? Another bellwether when the mega rich are starting to flee from sunny status symbols like LA living to milder climate safety. Although thinking of the many climate migrants already trying to do the same thing, and will be met with fortress Europe, forced into making dangerous crossings to be met with far right fascism from our country. And even within the UK you will start to see more movement northwards in time (Scotland is going to become very popular as the climate heats up) but that's not going to matter much when this Summer was seeing weeks of above 86F in Finland. The whole political system knows what radical change is needed and the rich are well aware of what is happening but we are still barrelling towards disaster because the mega rich believe they have the resources to buy their way out of a failing world. The poor will be left behind to suffer and that's why taxing their wealth matters and no billionaires should exist because it is an existential threat to collective society. Anyway if true hope the Carters enjoy the greenery of the Cotswolds while it's still there I guess.

Tweet dragging new Harry Potter show goes mega viral
I'm sure there's more regret for Harry Potter tattoos and money spent on removing them or covering them up (particularly as most people with one are more than likely queer) than there is statistical patient regret for any kind of gender confirmation surgeries (one of the lowest surgery regret levels on the NHS). Makes you think.

Tweet dragging new Harry Potter show goes mega viral
Side eyeing every LGBT person that continues to materially support this franchise with weak excuses like "but it's my childhood!" "The next generation deserves their version!" as if the primary market for this isn't the same millennials who were seated for the movies the first time round who should know better and the only reason we are getting this is because Emma and Daniel are principled enough to walk away from any legacy sequels and because JK is too incompetent a storyteller to expand the world past the core books (Fantastic Beasts found dead in ditch). When it comes out at least have the decency to pirate your slop that is directly funding hate groups intent on rolling back our rights instead of contributing to its success.

Katy fighting for a $15M mansion against 85 year old veteran
She's only carrying on the litigation despite winning in 2023 because she wants to get out of paying the remaining $6m owed on the property. It's either greed or vindictiveness or both

Katy fighting for a $15M mansion against 85 year old veteran
And she's only paid $9m so far, and is now trying to scam this terminally ill man out of paying the remaining $6m of the property value by counter suing despite already renting out the property to Chris Pratt last year. Reneging on the initial contract wouldn't have cost her $15m, but Katy has chosen to spend the last 5 years in litigation all because she was obsessed with this mansion and its potential to make additional income for her or apparently being a "forever home" for her and Orlando.

Lady Gaga
The way the new Superman's entire emotional arc boils down to this… truly sent me. There's even a line "maybe kindness is the real punk rock." Ddd. I see you James Gunn. In the cultural sense Gaga once again found speaking in future tense.
