I don't think Ari has a bad 1st single, but only a few are excellent I think Bey might be the only one with constant high level, although BMS is kinda the worst song in Ren I really enjoy all of Gaga's 1st, she served a lot of ART (Disease, BR, JD, BTW, kinda Applause), but I get why PI and SL are... questionable. Madonna, Katy and Taylor have some horrible ones. Edit: forgot about Rih and Britney since it's been ages, but maybe Rih is up there with Bey and Britney somewhere between them and Ari

Absolutely brilliant. I'm a little monster, and I don't enjoy Madonna as a person. But she's the most talented pop girl to ever grace the world. You just hear Confesions II and it's just... Nobody else can do it.

Not 100% into Confesions' overall genre or style, I'm much more an over the top maximalist gothic theater kid just as Gaga, so Mayhem will always win. With that said, I was surprised by how brilliant, elegant, avantgarde and cohesive Confesions is. Except for a few songs, I thought Madonna had lost it the last couple of decades. But having this vision, this talent, this... Everything, so many decades into her career. Trully remarkable, nobody will ever reach her.

I mean... It's definitely shocking lol but I guess people have many faces and phases... I went to a concert in Prague a couple of years ago, and she's still absolutely that b**** rocking out the No Doubt classics. I'm a huge huge huge fan and will see her live regardless.

Honestly, as much as I'd like to have LG8, I hope she slows down and starts focusing on having children. We've been FED this era like we've never thought we would be, so I think it's time she thinks of herself. She's almost 40 and sadly women have more difficulties to give birth as that decade passes. I'm just saying this because it's one of her dreams iirc. Anyway, if she has LG8 almost ready it would be nice as well to have it released with a mini-era, of course.

Couldn't care less about numbers, not being a Monster, neither being a casual Katy fan. I'm happy because this is what I wanted from Katy, a more mature version of her good vibes style. I don't know if it's just me, but I sense her more comfortable with this song, like more relaxed and in her own place (even her goofiness, which I don't usually enjoy, feels more chill and mature now). On the other hand, WW was so forced, cringy and almost artificial, and the goofy antics was trying so hard to be TGIF, DH, etc, it was awful. I hope she does well with numbers because she deserves a pat on the back after all the nosediving, but as long as she continues this path and seems happy, I'm back on her boat.

Now this is IT! Should've come out right after NRO and HIH. So happy she's heading this direction, a complete reset. I hope she does well.
