I like Everytime more. Its one of my favorites in her discography and its a song that holds some significance in my life.

I usually vote for Madonna on these pools but i'll give this one to Britney. I love love Everytime and its MV, absolutely her best ballad and a strong contender for her best song.

Drowned World is nice and has a great MV too but i don't really care about it all that much whenever i listen to ROL.

everytime always drives me to tears though. I guess I'll never understand fully what motherhood will mean compared to losing a loved one.

plus, everytime is britney's best ballad, period. ray of light's best ballad is mer girl

Love Knee & I understand why the song is so beloved among her stans, but it's so obnoxiously kitsch & annoying I legitimately can't stand it. The music video is far more iconic than Drowned World though I'll give her that

I like Britney, but not that song. It just doesn't do anything for me.

Drowned World is fantastic on every level. The opening atmospheric ambient wind sounds alone give me chills and they set the tone for the album. Madonna created a masterpiece with that era.

Drowned World/Substitute for Love is probably my most played Madonna song and absolute masterpiece so my vote is for that

This one is tough because even though they're both ballads, they're very different songs.

Drowned is better but Everytime is one of the greatest ballads ever. The emotion, the drama... it's just too good. You don't know how many times I recreated that bath scene when trying to kms
