Felt like the backlash was bigger back then to me? She didn't have as big of an establishment of her notoriety back then (even tho she was still big) the Kanye drama turned things against her (even if it was edited, a lot of people didnt realize it) didn't have the reputation she has now as Pop said, now it's more an attack on how her quality has declined (and maybe also cuz of the fact that she be doing releases on dates that other artists release, feeling like she does it on purpose just to take their peak) but much more fans are For her and defend her now (and u know that many fans just defend blindly)

Madonna -experiment more and go out of her comfort zone more atp, Taylor doesnt lack critical acclaim or success.. she has repeated the same cycle for so much time. That's why so many people are calling her "unseasoned chicken" She should change up things drastically. See a new world, viewpoint. Like..she was probably aiming for another 1989 with her last album...but she should do something new entirely. No, I get how Britney's music is gay but some of yall really get your pants on fire because she is least voted to have gay music and fans here(?) if anything, her music has resonated with Women mostly ..gays still are a large part (the loud one online ig) of her fanbase but I would say that Madonna has the least gay music lbr lbr tbh most of her biggest songs have been pushed by women .. So I would say BOMT/OIDIA (little girls), Toxic (really popular with the GP), Womanizer and Circus (havent heard her gay fans like these that much, but were still huge back in the day)
