a verse being less concrete doesn't mean it's not telling a story. the first two lines imply that the two of them are decently invested in each other, with colors that tie into the song's central theme. the third line implies that she's "fed the flame" of the relationship, and the last two introduce the twist that she's not feeling it. decent amount of content for 20 words
