  1. The first half is good, but it kind of falls apart after track 8. "I Only Wanted" and My Saving Grace" are stunning. Almost classic Mariah.
  2. Most people on Earth understand that writing biased reviews and giving albums extremely low scores as a result of petty stan wars is not the standard practice for media and journalism. If that written review is a representation of the publication's integrity, then it deserves to be questioned, since the majority of all the other reviews are above 80. It's certainly no coincidence that the lowest reviews (from Pop matters and Consequence) were both written by Monsters. A rating of 50 is beyond ludicrous, and anyone who disagrees isn't being honest with themselves. I've already told you I'm not the one going through his social media, so what's not clicking? The only reason I know it's a Liddo is because the receipts were posted by someone else on X/Twitter, but don't let the facts stop you from creating more false narratives. There's a reason why that fb has the worst reputation out of all the others, and you can't blame Madonna fans for that. The editor publishing the review is irrelevant, because it still doesn't alter the fact the it was written by a Monster, and your mental gymnastics and desperation to get him off the hook won't change that.
  3. So now I'm a "stalker", even though I wasn't the one who went digging in the first place, but I love the hypocrisy, coming from a fanbase that has hounded and harassed critics, celebrities and their fans to the point where they've had to come off social media (Kavinsky being one of the latest). Let's be honest, if the critic from Pop matters was so afraid of being "stalked" by Madonna fans, he wouldn't have put his name on any of his reviews. They would've simply used the words "Staff review", so I'm afraid your narrative doesn't work in this instance. If writers ask to review a specific album in advance, it doesn't exactly paint a pretty picture for Jeffrey Davies at Pop matters, considering his history of attacking Madonna and everything she does. If biased reviews can be detected and flagged so easily, then how come his Confessions II review managed to slip through the net? Sorry, but I'm not buying the rotten Apples you're trying to sell.
  4. I'm not a fan of Ariana, but I did notice something seemed off when I watched Wicked. Just watched the Petal video and was so shocked. You can literally see her ribcage and bony arms. How is no one helping her?
  5. Padam, However, Tension didn't get half the amount of praise from the GP that Confessions II received worldwide, nor was it anywhere near as successful.
  6. "I don't think you know how to fact check". If you did some digging, you would know It's not a question of "If", he literally IS a Liddo, so how is that a conspiracy theory? and most critics don't have total freedom with what albums they wish to review, as section editors coordinate release schedules and writer workloads to ensure deadlines are met without overloading individual contributors, and if every new album was assigned to a certain biased critic / fan of the artist they love, then everyone would get a ridiculously high score. I'm surprised you don't know that.

  8. Confessions II
  9. Oh wow, Great minds think alike. Yes, "Don't Let This Moment End", "Heaven's What I Feel" and "Don't Stop are all 10/10 for me. What do you think of "Real Woman"?
  10. It's 28 years old, but really good if you like Latin infused dance music. I love Gloria anyway, so I was bound to love it. lol
  11. Took a break from playing the album and decided to play another non-stop dance album I hadn't heard in years... What do you guys think of this? Loved it all those years ago and still love it now. Such a beautiful and talented woman.
  12. My point is CII was still getting high ratings after the first initial wave of reviews, but it only dropped from 84 to 82 because a spiteful liddo strategically waited to see what the scores were before he came in and sabotaged it with a ridiculously low 50, and all cuz he couldn't stand it being universally praised, and having the same score as Mayhem. lol and the same guy who reviewed CII (Jeffrey Davies) didn't review Mayhem on Pop Matters either, it was written by someone else, but don't think for one second he wouldn't have given it a 90 if he'd reviewed it.
  13. Monsters are the one's LYING. It was literally at 84, and was even reported on Gagadaily... https://gagadaily.com/forums/topic/429212-%E2%80%98confessions-ii%E2%80%99-debuts-w-84-metacritic-score-m/ The only reason it's dropped to 82 is because a bitter liddo at Popmatters gave it a very low score. Transparent to say the least.
