The swiftie moderators actually organized this in their discord and the a in the site banner was supposed to be a teaser. They wanted to send a message that if any of the girls outshine Traylor, they will just take the website down. chick3

It's so weird they rarely post anything. They have replied to corn accounts in the past and then just a slew of replies as if they are on the ATRL staff

Both of the two major pop culture subreddits have been kind of quiet today about this topic. It all seems very contained.

Oh, true, so they did not only sabotage Madonna's and Taylor's moments, but also Dua's discography rate sheep

To whom it may concern;

(Which is certainly not the active administration and moderation team that are doing what they can to keep the forum tidy and alive with the tools and circumstances given to them)

Do you think it's acceptable that we just had what could be Madonna's last album, which turned out to be a masterpiece, and also one of the biggest celebrity events in modern history with Taylor Swift's wedding and nobody could enter the forum to comment for about 24h? Isn't it embarrassing that a pop music and celebrity forum cannot ensure that it is accessible the moment ANYTHING noteworthy happens? The fact that we always have to comment on anything days after the fact and we cannot live in the moment?

Also, on top of that, isn't the bare minimum for community management to keep the community updated on why the site is not accessible? Why is it radio silence or "oops the servers!" everytime we have a major album release or event?

And yeah, it's not that serious, this is just a forum and some of us are employed and have a life to pay attention to, but this sheer neglect always comes in contrast with the moment there are asks to provide money to maintain the site. Where did the money that people put into those ATRL+ subscriptions go? Where does the ad money go? Where is the money that comes from the new Amazon merchandise inserts go?

Again, if you are a moderator or administrator this is not aimed at you, don't feel like you need to defend yourself. But it gets to a point, isn't it. This forum could thrive with industry insiders, in-the-moment discussion of music releases and capture the zeitgeist of anything that happens online. But no, we are stuck always coming LATE and discussing whatever the **** Xtina did 30 years ago. Embarrassing.

Have a good day.
