While moderators are usually around, other members may also jump in to help. Posting here does not guarantee an official response. If you need one, submit a Help Request. Please allow several days for review. Moderators are not required to respond to every request.

Treat staff and fellow members with respect. Hostility or disruptive behavior may result in a thread ban and a permanent warning point.

These issues must be submitted via Help Request:

• Warning point disputes

• Rule-breaking posts that were not warned

• Offensive avatars or signatures

Do not:

• Celebrate or protest bans

THREAD CREATION GUIDELINES

The volume of low-effort discussion threads has reached an unsustainable level. These are threads that do not encourage meaningful discussion or cannot reasonably support one. To reduce repetitive, reductive, and unimaginative posting, the following guidelines are now in effect.

Any thread that falls under the categories listed below, or otherwise violates site rules, will be considered a Banned Thread Topic and may be locked or hidden without further explanation.

The following topics are prohibited in all sections:

1. Low-effort discussion threads

2. Baseless or unsupported comparisons

3. Reaction videos or reviews

(These belong in the relevant single or album thread, or the aggregate review thread.)

4. Multiple prediction threads

(All chart and sales predictions must be contained within a single designated thread.)

5. Threads created to bash an artist, celebrity, or fan base

(See Trolling Content rules.)

6. Threads about viral content from other platforms that are not newsworthy

7. Personal opinion threads about an artist or release

(Post these in the appropriate single, album, or fan base thread.)

8. Milestone achievement threads related to sales, streams, or followers, except in the following limited cases:

• Clearly notable or record-breaking milestones

• First-day, first-week, or first-month performance

• A song reaching 100M, 500M, or 1B streams

Consistent posting of Banned Thread Topics may result in the removal of thread-creation privileges.

This list is not exhaustive. Moderators retain full discretion to close or hide any thread that does not meet discussion standards.
