About this new song... Well, first of all, I'm not the biggest fan of this album and it's juvenile sound. The only song that I TRULY love is Slave, which is one of her masterpieces. I like Boys very much and I love Overprotected Remix video. But that's it. The album per si was never my vibe. Overall this album always sounded like a "Britney Spears: A Disney Channel Special" for me lol. Undeniable it has it's magic, it's the Britney's pop reign after all, but it sounds VERY outdated today, and this new song doesn't escape from the same destiny. Of course, it's a product of it's time, so we can't expect that this song would sound like today's songs lol. If it's outdated sound is a good or a bad thing, it goes to each of us. I think that Slave and Boys can scape from this cruel destiny and still sounds fresh, but I can't say the same about the rest of the album. But I have to say that it was a great experience to revive the magic of the 2000's pop with it's big explosive chorus that Britney was an expert during her prime. Specially nowadays, when the pop songs are very boring, it was great to listen to a proper pop song that was taylor made for being a pop song without the shame of being a colorful and pop song lol. But in the other hand, the chorus is exactly where I lost it. The chrous starts amazing, with a big energy that goes up and up and, when it finally gonna do it's final slaps........it kind slips away and all that energy goes all down. And the bridge doesn't help. And the fact that Slave started immediatly didn't hel neither cause you can listen to the big difference of quality. Anyway, always a great thing to listen to new Britney. It's gonna be a hit? I don't know. Hope so! But... well... I guess I'm gonna be more excited for the special re-release of In The Zone and Blackout.

I think the problem is that Taylor is so absorbed into herself that it's like she's not listening to any other artist but herself lol. It's like she's only inspired by herself and that's why her music is on this eternal boring looping of nothing interesting to say + I don't care about haters song nº3000.

We've been known, babe, but it seens like if she's not being seen as the best and the #1 in every perspective, specially if it's about songwriter, which is her most celebrated talent, is a true terror and offense for her pswiftcopaths fans. And can we talk about the real genius here? Mariah Carey is the one in a million years generation genius. She has it ALL when we talk about music. Taylor can be great but I'm sorry... she's not like Mariah.

I doubt it would've worked. She found her truth with Stripped and that's why her career solidified. Another pop album could have given her a hit or two but it would be way more difficult for her to be free from this formula later. she did the best decision. after all, she is living her best life because of this choice.

But the reality that you can't hide is: Bitchfork is stupid, mad, based and boring only when they bombs your faves. Out of that, they are always so funny and real!!1!!1 You are the one who gives so much importance to numbers, critics, charts and etc, cause for you that's what really matters. That's what success means to you after all, cause you wanna flaunt about it as a soccer team being a champion. Pop music is really the soccer for the gays lol. So, in the end of the day, being a successful album is way more important than be a great album. Ps: about Miley's new album, they didn't lie.
