Ugh not me just realizing the rumored lg8 is just the devil wears Prada soundtrack dancehall2

Lg8 in 2030 at the earliest. Glad we're getting requiem soon, she should release it as a live album on streaming platforms and also on vinyl and cds.

What makes you say that? Did some news come out? For me, I don't really see film producers being keen on Gaga recording music in hotel rooms while she's on tour, esp when Gaga seems to be the type to emphasize recording collaborations in person. Film seems like something they want tighter control on and record in studio. So all the music she says she's making on tour, I just cannot see it JUST being for DWP. But I'm just making a guess

I don't think her team is that stupid to start LG8 rumors for just a soundtrack, especially given how much her catalogue and overall brand has increased in value since Mayhem. She got her fandom together for that era, I doubt they'd want to ruin that.

Remember those random rumors that Gaga was going to play Cilla Black in the Dionne Warwick biopic? It kept getting reported on by official sources too. bibliahh

Doechii songs were being played at a party I was at last night, so as liddo I added RUNWAY to the queue (despite my own opinions on it.)

When it was playing, I heard "what is this crap that's playing?"

Singer Wendy Starland has once again commented on how she discovered Lady Gaga, this time in an interview with the channel "Einstein of Wall Street." During the conversation, she recalls what she felt while watching the artist perform in 2006, still fronting the "Stefani Germanotta Band" at The Cutting Room.

"That was around 2006. She came up to me and said: 'I'm opening for your show tonight. Can you watch? Come a little early.' And I didn't even know she was a singer! I said: 'I had no idea you performed.' I'd only ever seen her in a suit, at work. But she was incredible, just that everything around her wasn't on the same level. So, after the show, I went up to her and said: 'You have tremendous courage.' She had an impressive presence, played with so much confidence. And I told her: 'I believe I can turn you into the biggest star in the world... but we'd have to leave all this behind. How attached are you to this band? To your boyfriend?' It turns out she had made a bet with her father: she had one year, starting from her birthday, to try to make it in the music industry, or else she'd have to go back to NYU. And I discovered her right on her birthday, on the very last day of that deadline."

After that, Wendy Starland secured a production deal for her with producer Rob Fusari, and on top of that, Starland and Lady Gaga even ended up writing songs together.
