He says they are cool and she is his sister but then he says he wants to apologise to her personally but you would think if they actually talked he would have done that by now. I reckon he indulges that situation because he knows he royally ****** up and Gaga cut ties with him. But I'm sure she'd be cordial if they did run into one another.

Also the way Akon describes the deal, it doesn't sound like it had anything to do with ARTPOP. I feel that narrative was pushed, like people didn't believe in ARTPOP so they left her, but he says he was worried about streaming and everybody was panicking on how they would continue to make money if music was going to be free. He also says it was a 3 album deal which I guess was TF, TFM, BTW. So they probably would have cut ties at some point regardless, it was just the way he did it without telling her that was snaky

Looking at all the RSD26 videos on TikTok, it is rather upsetting that Gaga's team didn't take part in both 25/26 for her best era.

They should have released Abra last year as a 7' single, and release the live album for Requiem with the Apple Music exclusive release this year. Her team is really useless.

Currently listening to Chromatica to see what I think of it now. I do think the standout tracks are Alice, Sour Candy, and 911. While a lot of songs on the album sound the same, it is a good album. She dethroned the jason derulo song from being the top search result both on youtube and spotify and I will forever be grateful for that

Just checked the dates and the TIME's article with her as the second most influential person in the world was published on April 2013, just two months after the tour cancellation and her surgery.

She was still in recovery when all these transactions were being made. No wonder she was furious and rebellious during the songwriting of ARTPOP.
