She was obviously talking about LG8 in that Zane Lowe interview. Why would she be unsure about releasing music attached to a film that was set in stone to come out for months prior to that interview?

If anything I'm kinda happy it didn't happen. And I'm saying this liking Madonna so much as an artist. I really didn't want Gaga to be that type of successor / torch to be passed artist. Gaga made her own legacy in the last 17 years. And didn't need that type of moment at the time.

If a Gaga x Madonna is really happening soon, it'll be in a much better place. She's not new anymore, she has her strong career, she had her own breaking records moments, hit album / songs over the last two decades and does no need of any type of validation anymore. So yeah I'm open for a Madonna collab or performance now.

I'm here for her Jazz show if its something like the Harlequin special. That was a fun show but her Jazz & Piano shows from 2019 to 2024 were too sterile for my taste. My friend went to the show in 2023 and said it was just "okay" but not worth the astronomical prices and that he would only pay those prices for a pop show. He did love the band though and said "Sway" was a highlight.

If Harlequin had any impact on her, I hope it's realizing that doing jazz doesn't mean she needs to present herself as a 57 year old Suburban retiree.

MAYHEM is only like 50K units from 2x plat in US. Should reach it with no problem given Bruno is performing DWAS on tour, Requiem is still to come, and then the concert special will add some extra padding around the holidays (assuming it comes out months from now TBH.)
