While that's true, I feel like the bar Gaga's set with her visuals will always be so high that anything that doesn't meet the mark, even if good, will fall short. Plus TDD's video came off of the universally praised Abracadabra video and Tim Burton directed it. The anticipation was just too high and the final product just didn't deliver imo.

True, but also just like the story from the last page about the GUY video. She put $8 million dollars into that and doing that for every video isn't sustainable. Especially if the song doesn't become a hit.
