At most she's a less-dry unseasoned chicken when she does her best. She's a mediocre musician, bad vocalist and terrible dancer. Her absolute best is lyricism which alone cannot make her anywhere near "seasoned". Just accept you stan dry art and move on.

You initially claimed she wasn't gradually declining yet she actually was: In 2014 she scored five massive top 10s on the Hot 100 and then a year later only one single made the Top 10 while the album sold less (with small pure sales) and then the third album scored several top 10s but wasn't as big as its predecessor. That along with her having no #1 singles at all and her first week sales being small was what pop stans claimed didn't make her a MPG. That's all. As I said earlier, Gaga has the bigger hits and bigger peak, Ariana has the consistency. Both are successful and remain relevant.

I meant it's factual that music forums like ATRL or Stan Twitter claimed she wasn't. Those albums were part of the Streaming Era though. Born This Way wasn't. But yeah, it was stupid but they were still claiming it. The pure sales were small but she did break the all-time streaming record in 2015 or something like that but it wasn't taken seriously at the time.

They have become a bit more relevant lately. When our supreme ruler premiered her amazing video at the Grammys' commericial break and it took off I felt like a music video was important again. Certain acts still care and that's great. But it's important they continue to care even when YouTube isn't counted towards the charts in the US anymore.

She was factually mocked for not being a "true MPG" until TU,N because she always had collabs and never hit #1. Her album sales and first week sales also weren't impressive. This is something that can be found on the internet. Her Dangerous Woman era was mocked as well. They were all successes, don't get me wrong, but to re-write history that it wasn't until 2014 that she broke through and TU,N where she finally became a MPG even to her haters is absurd.

Were you born in 2014 or something? Ariana has never reached the massive peak of Gaga's 2009-2011. Therefore she hasn't "always felt bigger" because she simply hasn't been.

Some of your claims are guesses. Zedd was absolutely big having hits himself. If we claim Gaga was carried by Bradley Cooper then we can claim the same about Zedd. In terms of facts, Bruno's last singles are performing on par with Gaga's so to claim he's carrying DWAS is idiotic. So neither Shallow or DWAS are carried by the collaborator. It's not anyone's fault but Gaga's that she has that many smash collabs.

Listen, Swiftie. These units aren't pulled from "#1 hits" but overall sales and streams. How many #1s Ariana has versus Gaga is irrelevant. She just surpassed Gaga having 10 #1s against Gaga's five doesn't look impressive at all. Like please have some common sense. In terms of overall streams, Ariana has way more features than Gaga. In terms of carrying, the vast majority Gaga's entire discography is carried by her solo streams. So you don't make sense.

Imagine if it was the other way around and Bradley had PF and JD and BR and Gaga only had Shallow which carried 99% of her overall units. I bet @TaylorsSquad would have claimed Bradley was the carrier while Gaga was a flop. Those variants really fry brains.

Problem was blocked from #1 by Iggy Azelia's other track. And since most of its units are from the digital era, it's safe to say Iggy actually carried that song. The carrier Bruno's latest three songs haven't done better than Gaga's two-month solo global Top 10 hit Abracadabra and his recent album even if DWAS was added would be on par with Mayhem in terms of units.

Ariana has currently one more studio album than Gaga (8 vs. 7). Unless she releases another one before Gaga comes back then Gaga could surpass her again with her next album. That said, it's far more impressive that Gaga is at that many units and Ariana just surpassed her by a small margin when Gaga has had half the hit albums of Ariana. That only tells me that when Gaga hits she smashes and is by far also way more famous. Poker Face, Bad Romance and Die With A Smile are all way more famous than the most famous Ari track. I love her but let's be honest.

Ariana Grande's first Top 10 hit featured Mac Miller. Her second Top 10 hit featured Iggy Azelia. Her third Top 10 hit featured Zedd. Her fourth Top 10 hit featured The Weeknd. Her fifth Top 10 hit featured Jessie J and Nicki Minaj. Her sixth Top 10 hit featured Nicki Minaj. Her third #1 featured Justin Bieber. Her fourth #1 featured Lady Gaga and her sixth #1 hit featured The Weeknd. Those are only her prominent features. She has way more than that. She also has eight studio albums while Gaga has seven. The fact that she's barely just crossed Gaga when she's on a hiatus isn't really that big of a flex. Maybe instead of listening to those countless variants you purchased you should take a class in math and comprehension.

Elvis was cited by The Beatles and The Rolling Stones as an inspiration and music from the 1950s is so vastly different than what music became post-1960s that it's quite impressive he even has one song with over a billion streams. I think Elvis might be a bad example given that his brand has become legendary. I get your point though. I think Bing Crosby could be a better example. He sold millions upon millions of singles, he still holds the record for the highest-selling ever to this day yet he has been widely surpassed by Billie Holiday, Etta James and even Edith Piaf because they weren't only about sales and actually impacted society.

Diana had the Stranger Things final season song being used so that definitely introduced her to new audiences. She was overshadowed by the other songs but it's still something.

Not only that but Gaga was only two years into her career when the video dropped and she was performing and acting like she'd been doing it for at least a decade. What an artist.

I guess that stems a bit from her being at least a whole generation older than the 80s MPGs who are already old. Diana Ross was also "old" for most of our parents so naturally most are closer to those who were later and impacted the "newer" music industry directly. She's a legend though and isn't forgotten at all.

Large events like concert tours aren't really remembered decades later though. There's no one short moment that everyone knows (MJ's Moonwalk, Britney's snake) and if it can't be referenced for anything other than how many tickets it sold such as for impeccable vocals, inspiring dance routines etc. then it doesn't impact anyone other than the fans hence becoming forgotten with time. Impact goes way beyond sales. Certain fandoms may never know what that feels like given that their faves only rely on big sales and records.

Do you know Colleen Moore? Probably not. She was the biggest box office star of the silent era. Rudolph Valentino wasn't as successful as her but because his films had more impact he remains way more famous than her.

No. At least not without actual GP support. If you have many actual hits that are known then yes. If the sales are just a fanbase massively pushing by bulk-buying you'll have no real impact outside of it and you will be forgotten.

I won't say I wouldn't take a lick of that delicious body but I don't think putting it in her hair is that delicious. I still think she's talented, has a great personality and makes great music. Armpit sweat can't ruin that.
