Budget on education keeps shrinking every year these liberal extremists are governing. They're so out of touch with reality they literally announced they're cutting teaching positions during those protests. Overall income inequalities have more than doubled since Macron's election in 2017. If working actually was rewarding, they'd be less protests.

It does remove one problem, which is the assimilation of a whole group of protesters to a supposed political group they belong to, while also running with the discourse that the usual target LFI is a far left party (real far left in France accounts for like 1% of voters). Funny when it's like the fourth time you quote me while deflecting on the actual point I was making: the Ariana & Olivia songs (just like almost every song ever released, deluxe or not) didn't have such colossal drops (nor were that panned).

All you have to do is check the Patient Zero thread's first pages and have a look at it yourself. I myself had to correct hardcore swifties by telling them there was a huge a*s TLOAS logo on each of the 3 CDs details. And yet you think everyone is aware of what an insider says? Yeah I'm pretty sure all of this makes a difference for the GP. Cherry-picking aside, since you're gonna exclude everything that doesn't fit your narrative, let's go back to the only songs you're allowing Patient Zero to be compared with: none of them had such colossal drops, nor abysmal critics.

But there also are counter examples of singles from Deluxe editions performing way better than songs from the original album. The only reason deluxe tracks often comparatively flop is because they were originaly left out of the tracklist for a reason: being inferior in quality. This can't be compared to a post-release single. To the GP and everyone including fans, this is brand new music released by Taylor Swift. Even people on this website thought this would be the lead to TS13 when it was first announced through exclusive 24 hour CDs. Even if we agree with your POV, this would only concern the first day numbers, and wouldn't explain neither the record drops, nor the catastrophic Metacritic scores.

These are mid at best, with Cleveland! being the standout, even if it's objectively worse, because at least it's somewhat different and surprising. The fact that people in this thread consider them to be "in the upper half" of the original album only underlines how bad TLOAS was. Unfortunately, this ain't going to change anytime soon. She literally told us all she wrote those four songs because she broke the record for biggest first week sales ever. And here we are with people mass buying CDs and vinyls for the lead single of the Deluxe of an album they didn't even like before it's even released, giving her yet another #1, yet another reason to give us uninspired music. If you want her to be at her peak again, stop rewarding mediocrity. Should I even write "TS13 when" at this point?
