Are you a short king?

Where are my fellow 5'2s ? Were you always teased about your height? When did you make amends with it? And how do you manage with the whole dating angle?

Personally, i used to be the shortest kid in my class but i never had a problem with it, nor did i face any bullying or teasing. I think i became conscious of it in my early 20s once i got into dating. Whenever i talked to guys on dating apps, we have a great conversation and then once i say, I'm 5'2 they were like "ohh you're sweet but you're a little short" or like stop replying so i immediately started prefacing any future conversation with someone by a self deprecating joke about my height so no time would be wasted and embrace the rejection lol... Thankfully, i'm now in a relationship and my bf doesn't give a ****. But what about you guys? Does height matter, or it's not a big deal?

No I'm a 6'2 bottom though and I feel like that tall girl from that Netflix show sometimes :monkey:

Okay I will be honest

I am 6'0.5" , I don't mind having short friends. Actually I never notice this silly thing

But when it comes to partner , it does matter.

I'm above average (5'9). I've dated men shorter or taller than me, so it doesn't really matter to me.

I'm 5'8, so not very tall, and I've dated both taller and shorter than me, and I don't think I even had a problem with that.

I'd rather have someone that is a bit smaller than me than someone that is way too tall. My first boyfriend was 6'4, and it was a bit awkward to kiss him in public sometimes, having to look all the way up. haha :monkey:

5' 10'' and some gays I met from Grindr dared to tell me that I'm short :suburban:

Wait, the Are You There God? It's Me Margaret tall girl? :chick2: I watched that film a few weeks ago for the first time, it was fun.

I'm 5'9". I'm not tall, I'm not short. Depending on who I encounter during the day I either feel tall or short. :emofish:

I'm 5'4 so :hippo: funnily enough both my boyfriend and my ex are both well above 6'2 vers-bottoms which has led to some funny conversations :hippo:

i'm 5,4 and i would love to embrace that but I know I'll never be able to.... Dating is complicated , finding clothes that fit you with the right length is a nightmare , and overall you get overlooked everywhere yo go..

(Maybe it's tricks  my mind plays). It makes me really sad

i'm 177cm and growing up i was considered short in my country :rip: i don't really mind though, i feel like the world is build for people my height because i can reach the top shelf but i don't bang my head on anything and my clothes are not too short on me.

i never really considered it a big factor in dating, i've dated men of various heights and it was never an issue.
