Shall we talk about what Spain did in the rif region? How they still deal with the ramifications of those atrocities to this day?

I'm moroccan and this whole thing is just depressing. I've seen images of young girls, men carrying their toddlers, others bringing their grown ass mothers across the sea.... the signs were already there, our gen z have protested months ago to highlight how bad things are but were met with repression and prison... Then again i personally don't believe it makes sense for Morocco to "orchestrate" this because the optics would be so much worse for us. This was the most sympathetic the Spanish government has been to this country, and they're jointly hosting the world cup. It would also **** up our relationship with the EU. If whenever things don't go our way we'll just unleash undocumented immigrants, that'll just make other neighboring countries do the same. All of this for what? Spain has not walked back on the moroccan Sahara plan... i just find the whole thing sad and confusing
