i absolutely hate the new EHRC guidance that forces trans people to use the wrong bathroom - which, in practice, means that trans who are out in their workplace may not be able to use any bathroom i was on a work call today and a trans guy was told that if he continues to use men's bathroom he will be breaking the code of conduct. he got visibly upset and had to turn his camera off because he was about to start crying. mind you that he looks very much visibly masculine so if he starts using women's toilets it will be very obvious and uncomfortable for most women... so he's basically stuck between potentially losing his job or making his women colleagues uncomfortable. the whole thing is just so humiliating and undignified for trans people, sometimes i do hate living on this terf island
