People here are so ******* pathetic who even cares if she decides to get married in Antartica, is her wedding. People calling her tasteless as it isn't more of a security issue. Just to remind some people how everything went south on Jack's wedding BEFORE peak Taylormania:

She deserves all the privacy she wants, as well as her guests. It is an event like no other, in a time where she wouldn't be able to scape the public eye. And people calling her attention seeker when she's literally getting married in an enclosed space . Anyways, I just hope she is happy cuz she deserves it and that we get an official picture, and not like she owes us that.

All this talk about "attention seeking" as if this wedding party won't have phones banned and a thousand signed NDA's. I for one would love a live stream, and I know every single Atrl member would watch if it existed.

Weddings are by default the most "attention seeking" event of any regular person's life, it would be silly to expect the most famous woman on earth to settle with some "small, intimate gathering", especially when we know how much she actually loves to host parties. How can you be a swiftie at this point and still not to some degree embrace the spectacle she's caused with everything she's done for two decades now?

In a lot of ways, I find destination weddings to some exotic place with no connection to your life more tacky. At least most of the guests actually live in NYC or can easily get there.

Actually, if you think about it, Midnights and TTPD can be seen as sister albums, much like Evermore and Folklore. Midnights is the lead-up to a night out and the story of the evening—including the drunken haze—while TTPD represents the following morning and afternoon, when you're left with physical aches, hazy memories, and the inner turmoil of having gone a bit too far.

I hate that all OTHs are having a western view on weddings. I visited Turkish or Indian weddings in venues for +1000 people, where a few weeks later a band played a concert. It's not unusual to 1) know many people and 2) have a party locations regarding security etc..

I guess she didn't want to associate her "fame" with Taylor Swift… Other girls can't relate.

That's so interesting since I tend to assume these songs are sold from Taylor to other artists, but maybe that's not how that works. Maybe the other songwriter worked to pitch it to someone else.
