tbh I personally don't really have a problem with songs being tweaked a bit here and there. I mean, artists should finish everything before the vinyl production deadline but if needed, they can keep work on the songs as much as they can until the digital release. It's also fun to compare the vinyl versions with the final versions. BUT if the vinyl is missing like five or six songs... that's literally a scam.

Exactly this. It's so frustrating that some people don't realize or intentionally ignore that some people just don't gain weight. Maybe they're pressed or something?

Even if it's only good words or positive reactions (even though it obviously isn't, lmao) it's just not normal that every tiny thing she does or everything going on around her becomes something to be judged. I still really don't know what it is about her that brings these people out. I genuinely don't invest myself in some part of the Taylor saga, for example like the Blake/Baldoni thing. I don't know anything about it except for the texts between them. Even though I'm usually one of the first people to run to Taylor news, I just don't have the time or energy to keep up with every single thing about her especially non music related things. At this point, I can't help but think about how pathetic their lives probably are. I know that's the typical "parasocial, hive minded cult member'd" conclusion, but Idk it feels like that for me.

I actually saw this discourse online. When I first saw the photo and heard the story behind it, I just thought it was really cool. Taylor didn't even cross my mind. But somehow some parasocial haters managed to make it about Taylor, saying she'd probably be mad about it... like, what? It's honestly impressive that people have this much time and energy to invest in Taylor, but it might be time to rethink their priorities.

You're really not that smart irl if your reaction to this was "timing." It couldn't be more obvious that they're celebrating their wedding by making a donation. No matter what the circumstances were, if the wedding date had already been set, they would've made the donation anyway.

As much as the discourse and criticism surrounding her and TLOAS are ridiculous, over the top, largely undeserved, I also think it's worth noting that Taylor doesn't seem to be in a place where she's likely to take valid criticism and meaningfully translate it into her next project. She's the biggest artist on the planet, has so much going on in her life. Her New York Times interview and her hall of fame speech come across as if criticism doesn't really matter to her anymore to some extent. So tbh I don't have particularly high expectations for the next album, and I think that's totally fine. But who's to say, she's always thrown curveballs and exceeded expectations and stupid fan theories like mine.
