Yup, Bobby seems to have finally gotten that down which is good. 4 minutes ago, Blade Runner said: Hopefully it does some cute numbers on Apple Music. That's like asking for too much, but fingers crossed. I think if it does, it'll be later on in its run. iirc DWAS didn't start getting good numbers on Apple Music until a few days after release. February 3, 20251 yr comment_27120307 This was really good. She IS happy and proud of this music, and that's truly showing in the material so far. I remember when many fans (me included) believed that her best music would come out when she's depressed/miserable but I guess we were all wrong. February 3, 20251 yr comment_27120341 We've been speculating for some time now, but I actually think Mayhem may be shaping up to be her best work to date? Or at least up there. I don't think I've felt this certain about a Gaga release in a really long time. February 3, 20251 yr comment_27120344 Dare I say this is her best song and music video EVER Bad Romance is the only song that can hold a candle to this visually and sonically but Abracadabra is even more elevated, dark, hypnotic, and on demon roids with a trance Europop melody straight from the divine The way after the second chorus she sings the postchorus Abra-cadabra-cadabraaaaaa and her angelic voice just cuts it off "phantom of the dance…floor sing to meeeeeeee" parting the dark clouds and raising all of our souls collectively into the heavens Link to comment https://atrl.net/forums/topic/395666-lady-gaga/page/11448/#findComment-27120344 Share on other sites Share on Bluesky Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share on Pinterest
 February 3, 20251 yr comment_27120353 I hope Gaga continues to work with Parris. It's been so long that we've seen Gaga dance like that in a music video. I love that not only does the song and music video give old school Gaga vibes, but so does the choreo; the dancing during the second post-chorus with the two Gaga's sitting down is like a mixture of Bad Romance, Alejandro, and Applause.
