Is gay monogamy possible?

Featured Replies

Every day, society is moving on to more unconventional type relationships. Gays are barely engaging in monogamy and they are in open or ethical NM relationships as it is much easier to navigate through, and gay couples tend to get bored after a while in relationships.

Even straights are having a hard time upholding monogamous standards nowadays. Thoughts?

If you love someone truly, not cheating on them shouldn't be a hard task.

Yeah there's a lot of weird projections and bitterness amongst gays online. It's actually very easy to find gay men who are into more traditional dating, I don't understand this nonsense about all gay

Monogamous relationship never possible in humans, not just gays.

Of course. I think some people maybe lack interest in monogamy (which is totally fine btw) but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Both with gays and straights the problem is not monogamy but the idea that relationships have to last forever.

Fear of things being the same all the time and the lack of the thrill of being with someone new are one of the reasons why it's like that.

Yes but I fear anyone who dated you would probably feel the need to sleep around

Non monogamous relationships does not equals cheating. Breaking whatever consent or deal a couple makes is cheating, in any form of relationship.

idk I feel like some of y'all have such twisted opinions when it comes go gay relationships you could very much be conservatives or sum rip

Yes? What even is this question

I fear the gays are convinced that party culture is the only way of the gays… there are countless of gay lifestyles out there and definitely gays that are not within the vacuum of the party lifestyle which very often involves hard drugs and consequently open relationships. Of course, you could be outside of the gay party scene and still opt for an open relationship but in my experience, this often happens mostly in the party lifestyle, which makes sense.

that part

No. Men are way too animalistic and barbaric. Straight couples can work because the women TEND TO keep the men in check.

Yes I know women cheat but we all know the ratio is like 10:1.

They're not hurting anyone. But they're also not representative of every gay man on the planet. Stop thirsting over gays on twitter and go outside and meet people in the real world.
