This is going to sound like shade to everybody but it is what I think. Madonna and Bey know they are limited when it comes to some aspects of writing and producing albums so they have always gathered the best team possible. They know when to give the producers their time to shine and what they bring to the table. Gaga did that on Mayhem and that is what it made it one of her best albums. But during Chromatica and all the albums prior she had a huge ego where she thought she was only an artist if she did most things by herself and controled everything. A couple of her producers have come foward saying sometimes they didn't even feel like they deserve the production credit because she did most of it. And to be honest it shows, you have to know your limits and give the producers the chance to make things in other ways. Because let's face all of these pop girls are super talented but they don't have the level of expertise in album production that a professional would.
