Hmmm, I think the music video is about the obsession of criticizing, our obsession with providing our opinions where it doesn't belong and also objectifying others by giving them values through how they look, or feel according to us. The illusion is it's about her weight. You'll notice how no other girls in the video were as thin as her. She is aware of the discourse but she is also highlighting how every iteration of her (mostly her physical appearance) is never enough. She confirmed through the discourse surrounding this video that people are way too obsessed about how she looks and how we construct her personality surrounding her looks and our opinions.
