Guinevere van Seenus - @Lemon I appreciate the attempt to creative a narrative connection here. The first photo is one of the strongest of the week. The second…anyway Joan Smalls - @Element I'm willing to buy what you're selling. Neither are the most impressive on their own, but one of the stronger narrative connections . Kate Moss - @Young In Love I think the "Rags" element could be a bit more pronounced in the first instance, but these are two strong photos. I like the contrast in body positioning between the two, and the setting sells the narrative enough. Lisa - @Seffers What are you talking about? Sasha Pivovarova - @Opulent Two great photos with high production value that stand well in contrast with each other. You radiate warmth in the former and a cold distance in the second. Soap Collins - @Luckitty Be serious. I appreciate the symmetry at least. Sora Choi - @petty I have bigger fish to fry this round so…two solid pictures with a questionable connection is fine. Neither are distasteful but Joanne feels more contrived…the connection between Uncle Johnny and the sonic/artistic direction for Renaissance is pretty obvious. I'm not sure what Gaga's aunt has to do with the visuals/sound of Joanne. Joanne title track is magnificent tho.

Artist development takes time. Slayyyter is amazing live now, but if you look at performances from past years, you'll see substantial growth has happened. Adéla's currently on a low budget tour with minimal live experience beyond opening for Demi. She may never become a Chappell/Doja-level live perfomer, but she certainly will be able to put on a respectable MPG show.

Allison Harvard - @Outbound I like that we're adding some versatility to your portfolio given the amount of high concept shots you have, but this does feel like one of the photos where the use of shadow/light is the least relevant. Guinevere van Seenus - @Lemon I think you've solidified yourself as the model with the most artistic photos. Some of the artistic direction is taking focus over the modeling here, but it's another stunning shot. Joan Smalls - @Element Honestly, it's one of my favorite photos from you this season. I wish more was going on in the face, but the lines your body is making are enticing and the use of light accentuates them well. Kate Moss - @Young In Love This feels like a return to form for you after a couple of misfires. I think your face is telling a story and I like the garment. I think the lighting is doing enough here to where it's relevant to the photo. Lisa - @Seffers It's a nice photo. I don't think it's conveying much to me as far as a message or POV, but I like the motion in the hair. Sasha Pivovarova - @Opulent Honestly, while you're clearly on theme, I think it's to your detriment here. The widespread use of darkness and shadow here means I'm only really drawn to the ruffles of the garment. Soap Collins - @Luckitty You look pretty and well lit. This is on theme, but I'm not sure how much this shot would have changed by being in different lighting. I'm also not necessarily gripped by anything you're specifically providing in this shot. Sora Choi - @petty I think this is proof that sometimes a pedestrian shot can work well. I think the POV/narrative here is clear. Based on your positioning, styling, expression, I already understand who this is. Zhou Xun - @Julia Fox In some ways this does like like the licensed pictures that pop up with you search Microsoft Images while working on a PowerPoint, but it's on theme, a nice photo, and a better display of modeling than some.

This story is too random and nonsensical to be fake, but I don't think it's a culture vulture thing. It's probably also more about her team than anything. Didn't Ariana's team do something very similar with Elvira?

The Art of Loving feels like AOTY, though there are a few on this list I prefer more.

It's also an Allison picture I haven't seen before, so hello, let's celebrate that. Bella Hadid - @blackoutbaby I will concur with Kylie that this feels more "generic iPod Touch wallpaper" than some actual display of artistry or perspective, but it's on theme. Guinevere van Seenus - @Lemon This is a wonderful shot. You've become kinda known for this high-art style. Joan Smalls - @Element I think this is a great shot with interesting use of shadow and lighting. The kind of collage approach works for Dadaism. Kate Moss - @Young In Love I don't really see surrealism, but the production value of the shot is nice. Lisa - @Seffers It's safe, but it's enough for this round. Sasha Pivovarova - @Opulent One of the better displays of modeling this round. I enjoy the intentional black and white direction here, and the garment works well also. Soap Collins - @Luckitty This is a strong entry. It's missing a level of intensity or uniqueness, but it's certainly near the top of the pack here. Sora Choi - @petty Production value is high, the body is right, and the face is amazing. Zhou Xun - @Julia Fox I can believe what you feel…sure I'm willing to buy this is art deco. It's safe.

I do mirtazapine. If I ever want to get off my antidepressants, I may try and see if melatonin/magnesium work for me, cause I've become dependent on mirtazapine (and it also stimulates appetite, so it requires me to be extra cognizant of my eating habits).

I thought it was intentional

I do find the meta albums compelling from people like Charli or Tinashe, who always seem like they're on the precipice of something. I think actual major popstars struggle to discuss it in a way that makes them sound profound.

I do think these reviews are a bad look for the critics, only because it makes it clear they've been inflating Taylor's scores for the last three eras and only now are willing to be honest about her output again.

She'll still get the noms. The voters may be less inclined to throw her wins though.

Thank god

She's going through the artistic equivalent of when your cool friend starts a family, moves to the suburbs, and has no identity anymore. She got the guy, she has the success, and she has her masters, so she has nothing else to say beyond trying to convince the haters that she won a game nobody was playing with her.

I think the Madonna envy is fan/hater fiction, but Kanye West could be performing on stage and you'd see 30 cuts of Taylor pretending to get her life.
