Selena's "Single Soon" - what went wrong?
I respect your opinion, but do you also think she sounded lifeless on "You Said You Were Sorry" and "How Does It Feel to Be Forgotten" from her latest album? I personally feel like I can really hear and understand what she's feeling in those songs when she sings about them. Like, there's actually so much emotion there imo.

Benny Blanco, Selena Gomez & Becky G - "Te Olvido (La La)"
I agree with everything you said, but at this point, I genuinely can't bring myself to care anymore, because Selena has basically always been like this since 2017. She's never really done what she's capable of or put in her best effort, especially when it comes to music. So now, whenever Selena releases music, I just don't care anymore about how it's going to perform on the charts.

Ariana Grande - 'petal'
The choruses on the album are honestly really weak. The verses on most of the songs are better than the choruses. It's so strange that Ariana Grande, despite being one of the best vocalists of our time, doesn't make better use of her vocals. The album might grow on me, but on my first listen, I only liked three songs.
