Sometimes, I feel like there's an ongoing narrative within circles of the industry that leads them to believe that the Black Community is being disowned and targeted specifically to avoid its dominance within the industry. I think we can all agree that Black Art or art created by the Black community is not perceived with the respect it is due and often tossed aside or interchangeable with the mediocrity of a lot of white artists. However, I think Stephanie fails to see that what is being criticized is mostly the role these violent or abusive men take, regardless of their identity. It's interesting how she just push all their wrongdoings aside, as if there is no possibility to criticize them and everything they do has to be praised, and they should always be framed avoiding any semblance of criticism. Of course, we could go at lenght at how white men who've committed crimes in this industry are not as persecuted (perhaps due to their extreme power). I think Gaga has her wrongs throughout her journey in this industry, but to be fair, knowing what we know today, that industry is litterally a ******* land mine. So, I think you start adopting extreme measures when you want to stay on top, and whether like it or not, our faves might have done something at some point that is problematic, just because this industry creates an environment where this is almost a necessity. I think Gaga was clear about she wished she didn't do, and she apologized for it. At the end of the day, perhaps we should avoid wearing rose colored glasses and just keep a critical sense for all of them.

Well, to his point, there seems to be a lot of pop music that is now built like jingles… but maybe it's just another symptom of late stage capitalism. A lot of it is unbearable, but for those who know how to experiment, some results are pretty cool. With that being said, I'm not too fond of the three keywords song with incessant buzzing or broken sampled voice, we seem to hear often nowadays. 90s music had all the beauty of timeless music: melodic genius, catchy cultural references with some memorable lyrics and incredible vocals for the most part. Can't say the same for a lot of performers today. Seeing that repertoire music is also the most streamed on platforms nowadays, it's hard to argue that today's music is any shape better than what was - if we use streaming habits as an indicator of quality, of course. Then again, the lens of nostalgia is often misleading and romanticized.

It's interesting how this administration doesn't understand the concept of precedent, and how they are inadvertently locking their futures. They have no ability to make decisions understanding consequences, or by fully ignoring them. If what Mr. Hegseth is saying that the highest form of violence is kept for people who have transgressed what is constituted as the law, what does he think is going to happen when he's obviously impeached (in the event of a massive blue wave) and accused of sedition, treason, and abusive methods in his position that endangered the safety within the US? He's basically laying out the way he will eventually meet his fate.

If you think Nazis is what you are fighting when you're protesting Mamdani doing political work to bridge a gap between communities, maybe you're the one who needs to take a long ass look at what you have done for your society versus what he has done. And then how you're constantly berating others who deigned to question your apparently superior state of mind. You really are just a bully who is hiding behind an excuse to swing at everyone. Ironically, we both believe in a Free Palestine… so yeah, your approach and THEIRS is not very conclusive.

Well at a certain point, if the population doesn't recognize these patterns or that the right is in no way compatible or has hidden agendas that is not aligned with the population's everday struggles, maybe we ought to start calling it as it is... If that's all it takes to make people vote for a far worse candidate, well, that's on us.... We ought to start looking it right in the face, instead of raising flags left and right and flinging the blame elsewhere. It starts with us, and ends with us.

Maybe it's also about realizing that to be a major A list star, you must know how to play the game well and create positive narrative for your work. It's definitely not surprising that this is an external idea, but it might be more about seeing the games these artists play behind the scenes to get their crowns.

Netanyahu seemed to have always banked on plausible deniability as a way to persuade others that what he was doing was for the best in the Middle East (especially when he labels himself as the only democracy there). He always was very persuasive, especially with the dumbest people (see Trump) and actively played the Jewish guilt as an ability to leverage whatever he could. He is a skilled manipulator but unfortunately for him, he has wasted all of his international political capital. He may now only fool Israelis, and people who have benefited from his tenure. His political career is coming to an end, sooner rather than later.
