Hmm I just think she could release literally any other weekend and the hive is holding on to the 29th because of a baseless theory. Who cares if act i and act ii were released on a 29th? She's not Taylor Swift, she doesn't play with numbers like that.

Those numbers mean something to her wether she uses them in her music or not, 29 is still a random number. Literally not the same thing. And the fact that you can only come up with those 2 things in over 25 years of career proves she's not into numbers like that.

who would theorize a Jay joint album when that already happened back in 2018? Unless EIL was supposed to be a part of the trilogy originally. I mean, she did start working on CC back in the late 10s.

If Act 3 is a collab album with Jay-Z she's opening with like 150k first week. Maybe even less. A complete disaster.

That tweet was allowed to stay, Amazon Italia had to remove their description of the trilogy. That tells u all u need to know.

I don't think we need to worry about a joint album. Jay has been rumored to have his music comeback for a while.

I personally think that Jay needs his comeback song to be his formation. Hard hitting and calls out the haters for baseless accusations ****. Tackle it head on and spare B being wrapped up in this ****.

Act iii should continue down the genre reclamation theme, otherwise there is NO real thread and calling this a trilogy was just... pointless.

There's nothing wrong with both having active projects at the same time. This is their career. They are artists.

What we can somewhat worry about is the logistics making OTR3 a reality. Both active eras, family together, etc.

I will become OBH if she EVER intends to let me go through another Everything is SHITE. In any capacity. I dont want to see nor hear nor endure a 60 year old rapper. No MAM.

Jay Z signed a 10-year, $200M deal with Live Nation in 2017... we're coming up on that deadline. I'd hope OTR II's $253M gross was enough but I'm not sure what the details of this deal were. he could probably go on a solo arena tour though and gross $80-90M himself. but I don't think he wants to be separated from his family for extended periods of time.

What if sis has indeed recorded a project with Jay, but it's scheduled for AFTER Act III?

We know she banks material and releases at convenience (see: the entire trilogy), so surely the tea in that tweet could easily refer to recording sessions for it…just with the wrong context?

Because I just don't see her being that wild to make Act III a Jay collab project that no one asked for nor wants. It would undermine everything about the trilogy. A falling at the final hurdle tea.

Conjecture on my part, but I could moreso see the following:

• Jay does the festival circuit this year to get back into the mix. Everyone is talking new album, but seems they are moreso pushing Reasonable Doubt's 30th Anniversary. So, nostalgia at least for now, maybe as a warm up.

• Bey drops Act III at some point from May onwards. It's solo and continues the reclaiming genres motif.

• If jay has a song on Act III and it's out on May 29 or before, a pop up performance during his set is actually great cross-promotion. And eliminates the whole "overshadow" thing.

IMO, if the above plays out, it's 2027 that would actually be most interesting on the The Carters front. Because:

• Touring is where I could see her caving to the "power couple" schtick again. I could see her sacrificing a 2027 solo tour for Act III in the name of another joint run with Jay. Like OTRI, it wouldn't be centered on a joint project, but lean into their individual material and expanding musical collabs.

  It would be annoying af, but definitely more digestible than a joint album. The irony being, I don't even think a joint album would be bad, but we just don't want it.

  I digress…

• 2027 is also interesting in that IF another Jay project is indeed on the cards, she would have a respectable amount of distance from Act III to drop another…something. Album, EP, mixtape in 2027. She could close out the trilogy neatly this year and while another project so soon isn't typical Beyonce behavior, there's a world where it could…work.

• Lastly lol, could also see a 2027 that sees Bey tour solo. Normal stadium run and some kind of residency with Jay very close by or even simultaneously.

  Marketing is everything and there's a world where they can have their cake and eat it too. And make even more $$$.

  I've always wanted bey to play with this concept. Literally be on a major stadium tour and do spot dates at intimate venues with some kind of marketing twist to justify (e.g acoustic material or, in this case, something with Jay). It's pretty ambitious and innovative, which is her whole mantra.

  Ultimately, the masses want solo a Beyonce stadium tour, The Carters want coin and to be together on the road even if it means going against the grain. Marketing and positioning is what would/could make that work. Bey will inevitably be the stadium draw, but leaning into scarcity marketing side of things, a limited residency with Jay either at the same time or after would inevitably sell too. a) it's still "Beyonce", b) Jay has fans too, and c) won't have the sales pressure given smaller venues. It would be positioned as boutique and high art, with probably a crazy ticket prices. Audience comprised of die hards, who won't mind spending on Bey again, and travelling GP like is almost always the case for Vegas residencies.

Must say that I really don't want any Jay anything outside of the odd colllab track here and there. I like him/them, but they need to read the room. Realistically, though, I think we should brace for a something. Like others have smartly pointed out, he still has his Live Nation deal, clearly has a musical itch to scratch (I really thought he had quiet-retired). Again, I like Jay, but in studying his moves, a lot of his career, especially the latter has seen him smartly leverage his connections for hits and tours (Bey, Rih, Kanye, Coldplay, Linkin Park). So, even if there's no outright joint project on the horizon, I think we should anticipate some kind of Jay/Bey…something.
