Jay-Z's return during Act III album release week would make sense, with the rumors of a new The Carters collab.

+I think Jay-Z is just doing some shows to build hype a bit for a release later this year during the fall.

If she dropped THE and 16C and overshadowed Usher's entire superbowl and album release, then I don't see a difference.

Also, she will be releasing an album that people will LISTEN to, all he is doing is performing some old songs on stage. I don't see how they both can't get spots in the media. Plus they have two different audiences, very possible that her album release then his first performance in forever will mutually benefit each other in terms of publicity.

I was at the mall with my friends, I made us stop to sit in the foodcourt as I borrowed one friend's headphones and listened as they watched my SHOCKED face. The lyrics! The vibes! Then I was utterly confused when it switched to I Been On and I didn't really know what to make of it. I thought it was her comeback single after expecting one all year, so I was a little perplexed she went for something SOOO unconventional in both sound and structure.

Oddly enough I was at the same mall with the same friends when the Grown Woman music video leaked.

It's highly unlikely it's a joint project with Jay-Z. Been there, done that, what more is there to say? This rumour really doesn't make sense to me.

Given he's not featured on any of the last two projects, I don't expect him to be on act iii, but I also know their collabs are quite organic so we never know.
