With the greatest respect, I'm not trying to 'sell' anything to you. I'm stating facts, which is that she has been releasing things in the past 8 weeks. Whether you like those things or not is your prerogative!

In the past two months we have been given FOUR new versions of an unreleased fan favourite song on streaming, with visualisers, unseen footage and the confirmation of a major re-issue for BDay that drops in less than 2 weeks! She's actually giving us stuff right now lmao!

And this is why I said listen to the Proof of Concepts! Her vocals in that Cuff It remix were strong. Nothing a bit of autotune and studio magic can't fix up!

Thing is, even though she's been silent we keep pretending that she's stingy, when really she's just randomly released a fan favourite unreleased track as a single as - and I quote - "a direct nod to her loyal BeyHive to commemorate the upcoming epic celebration of B'Day". That's HER words, not ours. An epic celebration of B'Day. "The song will appear on an upcoming 20th anniversary reissue of B'Day, arriving September 4, 2026, the 20th anniversary of the original LP. No other details about the reissue were revealed." I know we've all been beaten into pessimism, but the fact is we have been told directly from Parkwood that a re-issue of B'Day is on the way with at least one bonus track, and that the re-issue will count as an 'epic celebration' of the record. And then along those lines, we had the fairly verifiable leaked registration of a Get Me Bodied feat. Lady Gaga remix. Sure, things might get scrapped last minute, but as far as the leaks and clues go, we're getting a re-release with remixes.

I guess on that note, here's who I think could be cool on each of the track remixes (assuming the Gaga one is real and sets the tone for the rest of the anniversary package). Note: I'm leaning into pipe dream fan service, because what the hell else would this whole project be about if not pleasing her fans? She's opened the project with a release of Donk, which we've been asking for for years, and seems to be folding in the oft-requested Telephone Part II thing with a Gaga remix of Get Me Bodied. All signs lead to the idea that she's actually catering to us with this anniversary package... B'DAY20: Deja Vu feat Raye Bey has worked with Raye several times before (Bigger, Riiverdance) and clearly respects and vouches for her. Raye has a big big voice, well suited to brass bands and big production. I think this could work.] Proof of Concept: Where is my husband? Get Me Bodied feat Lady Gaga I'm still struggling to picture this track, or understand how it'll work. While Freakum Dress is this album's primary gay anthem (in my mind, anyway), Get Me Bodied operates in a similar space. Maybe adding a little Renaissance seasoning to the track for this remix and folding Gaga into the mix will be a nice way for Bey to release a track more catered to the group of her fans who loved Renaissance down but who didn't saddle-up for the Rodeo. Proof of Concept: G.U.Y. x HEATED Suga Mama feat Rihanna Idk if this is even feasible, but the Cuff With Me fan remix is so fire and I think this could work... Rihanna and Beyonce are two of the richest mothers in the world, and they could be convincingly sultry on a re-do of a track like Suga Mama. Upgrade U feat Jay-Z and Doechii Yeah not gonna lie this was my least inspired pull. I like Doechii and I think she's really talented, sure, but this track feels so tied to Bey and Jay that I'm not sure I can even picture someone else hopping on a remix? If Doechii is involved, it would be a nice way to honour her writing the best unreleased rap verse on a Beyonce song of all time with AHAP. Proof of Concept: AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM Ring the Alarm feat Slayyyter Slayyyter has already spoken out about her love of B'Day this year, and self identifies as Hive. As one of culture's hottest Bey Daughters, and a pioneer of today's pop-rock landscape, Ring the Alarm is very well suited to a Slayyyter feature. Proof of Concept: CRANK Kitty Kat feat Ariana Grande and Doja Cat This feels like an actual no brainer. Can you imagine the gaggery!? Make the track four minutes long and let Ari and Doja purr across the track, I beg of you! Proof of Concept: Motive x Promiscuous Girl Freakum Dress feat Meg thee Stallion Again, this kinda feels like a no brainer? Meg and Bey are gorgeous together, and I think Freakum Dress is crying out for a truly cool feature. Meg could offer this, and their live performance on the Act III tour would make all the teasing during RWT and CCT worth it. Proof of Concept: Ego x Lover Girl Green Light feat Janelle Monae When I think of Janelle Monae, I think about her in the Make Me Feel video, or in the Electric Lady video, which run in parrallel to the sounds and aesthetics of Green Light. Monae might not be able to vocally carry this track in the way that Bey can, but I think she'd fit quite well here. Proof of Concept: Q.U.E.E.N. Irreplaceable feat Olivia Dean This also feels like quite a cool idea? Olivia is having a huge moment, and has built a career on gorgeous easy-listening. Irreplaceable would suit her voice nicely, and this collaboration feels like a guaranteed Radio hit. Proof of Concept: Be My Own Boyfriend Resentment feat SZA SZA has such a gorgeous, husky voice that would really lend itself to Resentment. It's kinda the same key as Kill Bill, too, so I feel like I can imagine this really well? Proof of Concept: Kill Bill (Acoustic) Check On It feat Zara Larsson Again, this makes sense to me. Zara is HIVE to the degree where I can't imagine she hasn't been on this forum before. She specialises in fun, catchy pop. And while Bey hates the fluffiness of Check on It, Zara's campy persona and amazing vocals would really suit this track. I can't really imagine their voices blending together, but I would have said the same about Miley or Post before listening to Cowboy Carter, so it could work! Proof of Concept: Midnight Sun (Muni Long Remix)

So in less than 2 weeks we're getting a 20 year anniversary re-release of BDay which includes new material (by way of Morning Dew) and seemingly features re-recordings and remixes of each song on the original tracklist, including the long-rumoured BeyGa collab in the form of a 'Get Me Bodied' re-recording... and there's literally no updates, other leaks, news, insider gossip, pre-orders, or official announcements? Bey is the only artist who can release actual press release announcements about a new project and still leave me feeling confused and detached. I really hope this is worth it.

idk whats happening with him but the general idea of needing to scrub collaborators from a project is an unfortunate side effect of having multiple, heavily-collaborative albums in storage for 6ish years... sigh

Nevermind. Kaia Gerber is on US Vogue and Nicole Kidman (her Gala co-host) is on UK Vogue.

Beyoncé
This feels within the realm of possibility but I don't know much about magazine timelines - is it too late for her to cover Vogue's September Issue? She never did get a cover for hosting the Met Gala and it feels like the right time?

I guess they didn't wanna do MJB like that but honestly it would have been a slam dunk for them it's so weird.

I don't think she's fine with just being his little wife at all, though. Yeah, she had him on a remix of her song, and performed at his stadium shows for a couple of songs, but he's done the same for her at Coachella and at the Cowboy Carter Tour. I don't like him but I don't think it's as extreme as this tbh

I disagree - all she logically needs to do to wrap this trilogy is release a good album in a new genre territory and it'll be an instantly classic music project. I don't think we're far off from that reality. When it comes to extra-musical content that supports the three-act album project (tours, visuals, single pushes, live performances, promotion, merch, vinyls, etc), that's where Bey and Parkwood have stumbled. But even within those, they've been quite good at making new leaps for the Beyonce brand; Successful back to back stadium tours Re-defining Bey's performance style Multiple viral performance moments / choreographies / routines / challenges Multiple solo No. 1s Better merch than the Lemonade era Decent vinyl packages (in the end) Pre-order bundles Mystery bundles Merch bundles Pop-up shops/exhibits A tour film in cinemas

My only thing with OTRIII is he's using up a lot of his stadium power right now with this 30 tour. And people are buying tickets hoping to see Bey, and most of these audiences will (especially at her birthday show in London, where it's practically guaranteed she'll perform for a stint of the runtime). Money and interest are finite when it comes to selling major stadiums out - we saw that with the sluggish OTRII sales and slow CCT sales. If OTRIII was actually coming, I don't think Jay would be dropping extra dates for this JAYZ30 run. He'd keep it limited, surely? I don't mind Jay popping up at the ACTIII tour a few times to do a Crazy, Deja, Drunk or UpgradeU moment. But I would care if the finale of Bey's major solo comeback trilogy and pinnacle of this creative endeavour for her is tied to him again. This trilogy is the first run of albums she's ever made that doesn't majorly centre Jay in any specific way, and that's so refreshing. The Jolene moment was enough for me - I simply dont need any more marriage drama or billionaire gloating on the next record (I know we had some of the latter on Renaissance but that sort of worked with the whole ballroom opulence theme).

I just remembered when we all had to pretend we liked Be Alive

In all seriousness, Donk ft Jay flopping big time would be a big win for fans of hers that dont want an OTRIII. They both care about the numbers too much, and the last thing we need is to convince them that having that man prominent on a project of hers in 2026 will result in success. I think they got excited after her Don't Knock the Hustle moment went viral, but people were gagging over Bey, not him. And even so, DKTH is a feel good song with pristine vocals, not an angry rap verse over a clanking beat forced over a soft R&B number.

She told you all in 2022 that she quit her job - we just didn't think she was serious

Saying this when Break My Soul got 6 DJ remixes, a Madonna remix, an instrumental, an A Capella, a Cliquebait visualiser, playlisting and a radio push…

Idk - church girl's sin is the manic production. there's like two layers too many on that track. it's BDAY loud. I think the live version works for me because the live arrangement isn't competing with Bey's vocals (when Bey's live, her vocals always win out). Sometimes on the record her vocals and the production sound like theyre having a fight to be heard. Impeccable lyrics tho. It's a beautiful song.

Every time I see church girl live it hits in a way it never has done on the album. truly a live anthem.

She wants to launch luxury products but she has a broad fanbase of normal people who can't afford to buy that stuff from her. cecred is one thing, but I'm not spending £80 on any liquor in this economy, let alone a random whiskey I've never tasted. Trying a new product is a gamble because you don't even know if you'll like the taste / have it worth the money. I get she wants to be luxe, but why not send £20 smaller bottles to normal retailers and supermarkets? Why not do a deal with a mid-tier bar chain to have one of her SirDavis cocktails on the menu? There's so much obvious stuff she could be doing. I mean, it's even like how Ivy Park x Adidas fumbled the bag by skipping over making normal, affordable-ish gym clothes and instead selling £80 hoodies and £120 pleather boiler suits. We dont have the money for nonsense, Giselle!!! But if an Ivy Park tee was in store for £20 I'd consider it...
