Dating an OnlyFans model, need advice

Featured Replies

I'm currently seeing an OnlyFans model. We're not dating dating, but we're in that stage where we say "good morning" every day, plan movie nights and hikes, are very intimate, etc etc

He's not a huge creator, his Twitter page has only around 500k followers, but people occasionally recognize him at gay parties.

I wouldn't say i'm in love with him yet, but the way things are going, I'm afraid it might become something serious. He's very mature and says that lifestyle isn't forever, but for now, it pays his bills.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Any advice?

I "dated" a professional porn star (you all probably know him since he's been around for like 10 years lol) for about 8 months and it ended with him telling me he was in love with me on NYE and then two weeks later telling me that he lied and gave me syphillis. Still let him come on the couples trip to Mexico for my birthday two months later, and didn't have any fun nor got paid back.  Hope yours works out better!

If you already have issues with it, just accept you're not compatible. Why force ish. Be friends and seek a new date.

isnt that big? im not into the c0rn industry but theres no way thats considered low right :deadbanana2:

Your post isn't very specific. What about the idea of dating someone like this makes you hesitate and ask for advice?

Only date him if you're comfortable right now with the fact that he's doing OF. If it bothers you now, you won't magically get over it just bc you start dating and he says he'll stop at some point.

I couldn't do it tbh, had someone I knew in high school that got into the business after college and he has absolutely no back up plan for when that well runs dry. The relationships also usually burn out pretty quick

a lot of corn artists i've met have always been very depressed (and depraved to a certain extent) people. they often lack a lot of self love and by proxy they're unable to love others, even when they're kind or trying their best. so be careful

it's an industry that requires self validation and vanity over anything else, otherwise you can't thrive in it.

can you send me the link to his page? so i can know to avoid his disgusting content and won't accidentally interact him because I respect your relationship????

He may or may not be a prior recipient of gay male porn star of the year at the ****hub awards. (Didn't invite me even though I had shot videos/photos for him and designed a bunch of his merch)

Since then he's alienated most of his friends, and has a boyfriend that may be uglier than his current merch designs, and knowing that is enough for me  plus he never had furniture and moved like every four months, so I'm sure the IRS will take care of that for me eventually.

It might work if you're ready for some kind of open relationship, but also STDs :biblio:

Completely agree. Would never even consider dating an OnlyFans model or Instagram influencer, for this reason.

There is no per se issue here.  The questions you need to ask are the same in any relationship.  Do you feel secure?  Does he seem mature enough for a relationship? Are either of you in the right place for a relationship etc.

If my BF decided to start an OF, I would probably be for it.  (Why not have extra money?). But that comes with years of conversations and understandings with each other.

As someone who's also had a situationship (or two) with online prostitutes the best advice I can give you is to live in the moment, have fun, get traveling paid for, and then move on. I'm a relationship person but they only did solo content so it didn't conflict too much with how I go about dating. I went into it knowing it'll probably just be a fling so I didn't really care and it was easy to just end it when I got bored of their lifestyle. Unless you want to collab and make money together (which I probably would have done for fun if it wouldn't ruin my career, they made a **** ton of money), I'd honestly just not take it serious and go with the flow.

Things can just be for a moment, not everything has to last.
