Katy Perry taking a break: "See you when I'm ready."
She played this exact same thing at the end of every show on this tour. She already said in the podcast before Watch it Burn that the song (and bandaids) was a bridge to the next phase of her music career so I don't for see that long of a break. I would guess at least a new single Q2 and if it charts AT ALL an album Q3.

Ariana Grande - 'petal'
Positions' wig is still secure but she definitely felt a little tug. This is so ******* good oh well and like I do

Has Charli xcx surpassed Gaga in music versatility?
She surpassed her over a decade ago, yes.

Tyla – A*POP World Tour
This is for sure getting cancelled. What happened to UPGRADING venues due to demand instead of artificially trying to create it by booking stages that are way too big?

Ariana Grande sues leakers
they've leaked recordings of pretty much every time she's even thought about going into the studio so they'll be in jail for a LONG time

"Longtime collaborator" Isn't wrecking ball the only song of her's that he has credits on? I doubt this would ever actually happen.

the charts are by definition a record of how "monoculture" a hit is and based on how many points it takes to get a number 1 now vs 10 years ago, you can see that the major hits are being much less consumed. Streaming makes it easier to avoid music that you don't like, which killed monoculture. In the 2010s I would still be able to sing along to virtually any song in the top 10 just based on exposure and now I haven't even heard Choosin Texas one time and it's about to be one of the biggest chart hits ever.

Charli xcx - 'Music, Fashion, Film'
Top 3 of the new songs on first listen are I'm Afraid, Persona, and NOLF (with Wink Wink and Camera filling out the top 5, in no particular order).

Charli xcx - 'Music, Fashion, Film'
You only want to listen to it once, as opposed to a constant repeating loop because nothing lasts forever. She has the mind of a mastermind. I'm so happy that Charli is going to go down as one of the definitive artists of our generation and is proof that success isn't everything. This album is incredible front to back, I almost can't imagine listening to it any other way than straight through.
