Educators need to know they are mentors and second parents to students from 3years to even 30 years plus (regardless of age), such words hit word on their students and when hardship happen, those words hit the alumni or adult you raised, as those words will re-emerge from their subconscious when unemployment hits or failures and the words construed as words come to life. Leading to some ending themselves, as they were told they are useless at this stage
