Is she wrong though? The social media era has created an even more unrealistic standard for women on screen. Just look at films before 2012. Women's faces moved, had lines, and were imperfect. Nowadays you can literally see the filter on these big stars' faces, smoother than butter. They don't get "ugly" and are always serving fierce scowl. It is lowkey distracting. I'm noticing it with older male actors too now. Of course beauty standards have been a prison every decade for women, but the actresses were able to be glamour while also being raw. They were allowed to age, despite studios phasing them out for doing so. Now our society tells women in media that you can work until you're 80 !!! as long as you don't look 80. Even on here users shame women (and men) for simply aging and not giving in to the beauty industrial complex that reinforces youth with beauty. The youthful the woman the prettier she is. Who made that up? Men in power who most would most likely pursue 16 year old girls if it was legal. Meanwhile men can get older and still be sexy. It all makes no sense.

On the rarest of days this site can feel very light and like a community usually during big news, and on days like that I do feel grateful for my friends on here. Most days though I just roll my eyes because of how stupid people can be, like the site has lost its maturity over the years. But maybe that's me caring less and it was always like this idk

I really do hate the media attaching her onto Olivia. It's getting weird and it feels like they're trying to poke at her given that there is obvious bad blood between the two. You're first mistake is following and caring even remotely about charts. If you're only keeping up with big name artists that are mainstream (which is what...like 10 people?) you're gonna obviously be checked out since only 1-3 released anything. Music has been pretty great this year. The more indie/niche artists have been delivering quality for years now and 2026 is no different. Maybe it's time to expand your taste a bit

If MAGA wants to work 7 days a week with no PTO, no vacation, 50+ hour work weeks plus overtime, and also opt out of social security and Medicaid to provide for our country and lift it from the bootstraps out of debt like the real patriots they are then sounds good to me. The rest of us will be taking our holiday pay, thank you.

And this is why we need young progressives in office. We don't even have proper internet provisions in this country because of Gen X/Boomers running our Congress. Let alone any social media laws. I got a fever/flu at the tail end of a three week vacation (where I didn't have access to a gym) that made me lose 15lbs. Mostly water weight but still. People in my life noticed I lost weight which genuinely was the worst but I've gained 6lbs back already, didn't lose any muscle/strength, and have been super consistent with my diet so I'll be back to where I was soon. I just don't like being too lean but overall I'm happy.

I went to Medellin, Tayrona, and Cartagena and everyone I met told me not to go to Bogota. Weather isn't good and it's not the safest, although I heard it has decent nightlife if you care about that. But so does Medellin.

There's nothing for me to cope over. I can't wait for my 30s honestly, my 20s have been way all over the place. Mid-late 20s have gotten better each year but the idea of hitting a new decade doesn't scare me nearly as much as it used to. I might not be exactly where I'd like but I think the truth is nobody really is. I could seriously write a book about my early 20s to current. Genuinely would not even recognize my younger self, or even comprehend my past lives. I'm in the best shape mentally and physically I've ever been and continuously discovering new things about myself. I'm excited to get another chapter and a new decade for me to continue living my life to the fullest. The only thing that stops me in my tracks sometimes is when I think about my family, mostly my mom, aging. I'll think about being 50 and realize she'll be close to 90. My grandpa will be gone. Her not being immortal is what will be hard to cope with just because I cannot imagine my life without her. Besides that, I have no fears about myself.
