like @K$Ellie pointed out, it's also not being super well received by other forums and sites. It's also her worst rated on p4k. Yes they gave it 8+ but that is not hard to get nowadays if you make decent enough music.

Yup, just as I thought... This was a middling lil track that sees her doing the same **** that she did over half a decade ago with minimal artistic evolution. Sure the lyrics are kinda cool in isolation, but if the music itself isn't exciting there's rly no point to them imo. Like i'm not checking tee out as a poet. Yes, it is a tad better than too easy, but that is not a hard bar to cross. I'm disappointed in this era so far. I know I'm going to like Melatonin, but I rly hope there are more tracks like it on the album where she's trying new things and sounds, or evolving the sound we've known from her. This… will not be getting many spins from me, nor the general public i'm afraid.
