  1. That sort of thing has never been my vibe and feels like the worse environment to be in if all you want is "platonic socializing"
  2. The country with the biggest music industry share does indeed matter the most I'm afraid. And if it's so easy to bot streams Olivia is free to also plant herself into a multi-week top 2 residency
  3. I mean, frankly it's easy for her to say these things now that she doesn't have any power, and especially something that wouldn't ever happen
  4. You do know Spotify isn't the only streaming service correct? Hence IKIIKY having higher streaming totals on the hot 100 chart than Olivia's current singles
  5. Karma is mids third single. Plus stupid song was the single released with the album. We could compare it to Ophelia?
  6. Some of the centrist pundits are hand waving it but I do think it's interesting that Stevens camp hasn't posted internals. Emily's list polling the entire state but somehow didn't do any senate polling for a candidate they've vocally backed?
  7. I think the current consensus is that Stevens vs El-Sayed is a close race but I think he will safely win
  8. I can't lie I'm feeling so bullish about our chances lately, when/if Abdul wins his primary it's pretty much gonna be the death knell for the establishment of the party. That's why there's so much money and noise pouring into this race specifically. I think it's gonna be more favorable in his direction than people anticipate
  9. Ok? Do a bunch of cultural critics nobody knows writing for a paper getting less and less readers equal a meaningful zeitgeist? Can random people in the street name a single song from it?
  10. Oh this Abdul rally is great. A lot of energy. Shawn Fain and AOC giving fire speeches so far
  11. I'm seeing online that Troy Jackson is doing very well with delegates
  12. Yeah this was a pretty weak performance from him, especially to make it a prime time address. Didn't mention anything about the Georgia senators, most networks didn't air it. It's a khia
  13. Oh it's going to be a beautiful Oscar campaign methinks
  14. Randomly popping some champagne this morning did something happen while I was asleep?
  15. Do we "bully" or do we justโ€ฆ know what we're talking about dddd
  16. It had a genuinely fantastic hot 100 run, especially for a single months after the album had already dropped. I heard it a lot on the radio
  17. ? There's like a million different degrees between "lukewarm" and "monster hit"
  18. Well but that's part of my question, is having a certain amount of wealth the divider or your proximity to owning capital
  19. Moderates just have a fundamental need to have a class lower than them to feel better about their own position. That distinction makes them feel morally good, like they did the right things in life unlike the lower class who simply wants to take. They like the status quo because for now it still works for them. It necessitates that there be a group that it doesnt work for, ergo it's the natural hierarchy, what is there to fix?
  20. I think in conversations like this it's important to have a distinct definition on when one goes from working class to affluent liberal
