  1. We know why rapes happen. Because men feel entitled to the space and autonomy of other people's bodies. One can argue this manosphere era is exactly what led this kid down the pipeline to commit a crime like this because it so heavily dehumanizes women and young girls. So we have our answer. If you're suggesting that he perhaps may have been a victim of SA himself and that could have led him to become an offender (which statistically is not the case for majority of victims), I would again argue that it's even more imperative that he is given strict consequences for his actions. Potentially being a victim of abuse is no excuse to be an abuser. There must be course correction and reinforcement. This wasn't just groping or him being pushy. This was alleged rape. I don't have any room for excuses especially when a perpetrator as young as him could very well continue to offend in the future as an adult if the punishment isn't swift enough.
  2. I'm not going to engage in a back and forth with you about the psychology of what makes someone a rapist because to be blunt: it doesn't ******* matter. I couldn't give two shits about what drives someone to commit rape. What's next? Psychoanalyzing child molesters? Certain crimes have zero excuses. If these allegations are true then he should go to prison. End of. I would argue him being a child is even more reason for a no mercy punishment, at least if your concern is about rehabilitation.
  3. Yes putting rapists in jail is a solution to a societal issue as under-reported as rape. Unfortunately we don't live in a society where castration isn't the legal punishment to an act as heinous as rape, so this is the least that can be done.
  4. She knew it, she knew it was theatrics
  5. Jesus. Lock him up and throw away the key.
  6. Free loader and bum EVICTED from house that was never theirs. More news at 9
  7. It's her voice. Say whatever you want about it but she has a voice that sounds good on just about anything, and in every genre. It's recognizable, it's distinct, it's cool, it's Rihanna. That alongside her ability to be the perfect muse for fashion designers allowed her to be a seamless chameleon. People can make as many excuses as they'd like but her career can't be replicated because nobody has IT like her. It's crazy to think that she did all of this as a black woman too, which I think is where a lot of disdain for her comes from. She was never supposed to reach the heights that she has and yet she did and continues to outstream her so-called "more talented" white counterparts. Some of the biggest acts we have now like Ariana, Tate, Dua, and even Sabrina to an extent pull from Rihanna. Her catalogue is some of the most diverse and none of her hits even sound the same really. Truly Madonna's daughter in that regard.
  8. The crossover hits or old-school hits, yeah. But my parents weren't into country music and I grew up on the West Coast so country felt a bit irrelevant in my region. I think Morgan Wallen/Luke Combs played a major role in making it cool again about 10 years ago.
  9. Rihanna. Her hits everywhere and are inescapable if you go out in public. I never hear Britney's hits outside of maybe Gimme More, Toxic, or Circus. And I don't say that to be shady, it's kinda surprising given how big of a popstar she was.
  10. I don't think AI can replace my job but it will certainly be incorporated with what I currently do. Luckily humans are needed. My side hustle however...we'll see
  11. Exactly what their label, and industry as a whole that's uplifting/pushing them to usher in AI music, wants you to feel
  12. The whole thing is so humiliating
  13. Still hasn't even cracked 200M streams either
  14. Same ones who called Rihanna a "prostitute" based off misogynistic rumors she slept with Jay Z when she was a minor. Very sick individuals
