HDD Final: Olivia #1 80k, Morgan #2 77k, Charil #3 74k, Strokes #15 30k, Tyla #43 17k
Charli's numbers are on par with BRAT with like zero viral hits or any momentum going into this album and #they still try to find something to drag about Are the fumes being misdirected because the newest slop that got sharted out isn't even in the Top 20 despite its 4M debut numbers?

CONFESSIONS II at 2m daily. What went wrong?
Jesus Christ. This site gets more and more like stan twitter everyday with the incessant obsession with numbers, zero media literacy, and lowest common denominator braindead comments. #1 album, biggest opening sales in 10 years, critically acclaimed, and outstreaming her contemporaries. At 68 years old. This is a triumph for any artist, let alone woman, at this age. You should be grateful this legend is still alive and creating decent music.
- Stupid Song is the only pop song inside the Top 10 of Apple Music US. Why?

Is the industry too quick to anoint black pop stars?
Also Tyla's problem is the music. They're not giving her the biggest songwriters, producers, etc. like let's say…Gracie Abrams got on her first EP.

Is the industry too quick to anoint black pop stars?
Getting invited to award shows, red carpets, and brand deals are industry standard for any "rising star" because management is trying to create a brand behind the artist but the artist development/label/ music portion is a different ballgame and there's definitely a discrepancy when it comes to access to producers, artistic freedom, and contracts. People like to blame artists flopping on their music but in many cases it's more about if there's a machine behind you to navigate you forward. Unless you're very lucky and naturally gain an audience to invest in the big GP launch (Billie) or blow up overnight (Olivia) there's not a lot of investment into the music/artist. You're kind of at the helm of what the label wants, which is usually not congruent with the artist. Part of the reason it took SZA so long to release SOS is because of label issues, and that's SZA. So you can imagine what a new black female artist has to endure to get full investment musically.

Taylor's new heavily promoted song is out of the Top 100 of Spotify. Why?
We knew It, we know it's fraud. Not even 150M streams either. A FLOP of epic proportions

Jim Clyburn: Black Americans are at fault for why Trump won in 2024
Pulled straight out of that wrinkly waffled ass Maybe he meant black American (singular) gave us Trump, as his hand in rigging the 2020 primaries against Bernie to bolster Biden with a SC win despite his policies being worse for black voters played into the distrust and rejection of Dems in 2024. Projection much?

The current "supportive" culture gives people an inflated sense of self
Lol. You'll have people on this very site (I'm sure it's even worse on Twitter) who will try and drag objectively attractive people on their looks so I don't see how any of this is true. Even worse when gay men are involved If anything it's faceless people with the inflated sense of self projecting onto those who actually do post whatever they want on social media. Maybe you're talking about how women treat other women online which might be "fake" but better than masking cruelty with "being honest".

Delete a Madonna studio album from the 80s
LAV, True Blue, and LAP are integral to her as an artist and while LAV is probably the weakest here there wouldn't be a True Blue or LAP without it. If LAV was her debut she still would have blown up based off the title track and hits attached, whereas her debut was a slow burn and could have been put out by a Tiffany or something back then.
