I'm all for it actually. But if we're keeping anyone let it be Aaron. The number of songs she did with him that I don't love is limited to Thank You Aimee and Robin. Not counting the vault tracks that's a 96% success rate. And he also did most of evermore which is her best album so there's that too.

The poll for Bass Persuades vs Midnights makes me want winter to come fast. Midnights is my go to cold weather, rainy album. It just hits so different in that weather for me.

Babe I think you are late. That album is already here and it's called folklore. And even if we get out of the singer-songwriter lane, 1989 is definitely also going down in history for pop music.

In a perfect world Taylor would work with new blood for 13 but I really think it'll be a Max / Jack / Aaron project.

Dream TS13 producers:

Jeff Bhasker (Holy Ground, Kiss It Better)

Naomi McPherson (of the band MUNA - openers for Taylor on the Eras Tour… so a collaboration feels within reach)

Andrew Watt + Cirkut (These two have been on quite a roll since being the architects behind MAYHEM)

Would also welcome Danny L Harle, Koz, Ian Kirkpatrick… just fresh faced pop producers that have proven track record.

Would also welcome Nathan Chapman for a song or two but I'd prefer she stay away from a purely country project.

Greg would be great but he's been very quiet in recent years (as far as I'm aware at least)… but for awhile he was basically the next best thing to Max Martin for a great pop hit.

Monsters and Strangers are hugely underrated - they've made some incredible songs.

I want her to work with Ariel Rechtshaid, Emile Haynie, Rick Nowels, and Rostam.

Opalite aged like spoiled milk in Mercury but you spilled with the rest

For me it's the way that in real life TTPD has like two dozen songs that are each better than basically the entirety of Showgirl alone

Anyway my dream collaborator remains Sufjan. Fulfill The Prophecy.mp3 and harvest his soul and his sadboy guitar plucks to get that 95 on Metacritic mama!

end them for me… but for me evermore is worse. at least the aaron messner songs on ttpd were mixed by serban godnea unlike the ones on snoreloremore which literally give me a headache and sound like noise

Ophelia is literally the only thing that is unifying the fandom this era, from the music to the music video everyone loves it.
